Joseph BainA fantastic hostel in a great location. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Free wifi and breakfast. Rooftop bar is a bit basic but is cheap and has a view of the acropolis. I would definitely recommend the walking tour that goes every day. Tiring but well worth €5. Really interesting and a great intro to the city. |

Customer reviewBreakfast was quite good, it was a nice and modern place, rooms were very clean and tidy, the bathrooms were pretty average but everything else was great. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. |

Customer reviewAthens backpackers was easily the best place we've stayed in europe. it was so close to the acropolis and the plaka and a safe location. was so sad that we couldnt get in on our return to athens and stayed in a scumy location. |

Kelly HusterI had a fantastic time staying at Athens Backpackers'....not only was the location a stone's throw from the Acropolis, but the rooftop bar (looking directly at the Acropolis, no less) provided many a good time. The hostel offered guided activities/sightseeing and even bar-hopping at night. Would definitely stay here again. |

Kelly BealsRoof top bar area is big enough for a gathering and just small enough so everyone has to be social. It's a hard act to get right but this place pulls it off so if you are a solo traveller it's just fantastic. |

Customer reviewThe location is great., the rooms are clean enough, the staff is very friendly but the best part is, without question, the view of the Acropolis from the rooftop, which is also the bar (totally spectacular!). Also, it gives you a chance to meet the other guests. All in all, it was a good option considering the price. Pitty they don't have singles rooms. |
