Liked: This is the epitome of hostel living. The dorms are great, the beds are big and you can request all female dorms if you feel more comfortable. There are big lockers available...bring a dudley combination lock. They are big enough to fit like 3 day packs. There is a rooftop bar with a view of the acropolis which is a great place to meet people. They offer all kinds of excursions at a very reasonable cost. It is in a great location, steps from the metro and one of the main streets for sightseeing in athens. Breakfast is good for a hostel breakfast. There is toast and hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, etc. A fridge is available to store food you buy at markets, which is another great way to save money as restaurants are over priced and overrated in Athens - you will get your best food at market. FREE WIFI!

Disliked: Nothing, for a dorm-type hostel it was exactly what you would expect. Certainly one of the best I have stayed in. If your not expecting luxury you will be very very happy with your stay!

Liked: It was really close to the metro and the rooms were nice and big. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was great too.

Disliked: There's no lift so carrying a heavy backpack up and down the stairs is interesting.

Liked: It was so close to all the main attractions, and also the metro (just one stop from Syntagma Square, which was within walking distance anyway). We did the walking tour for 5 euro and it was probably the best thing we did! We also did it on a public holiday so all the attractions and mueseums were free! Bonus! Definitely reccommend staying here. The view of the Acropolis at night from the roof top bar is cool!

Liked: Great location, friendly staff always there to answer your questions about sightseeing, travel and places recommended by the locals. The half day tour organised by the hostel was also very good value for money to see most of Athens significant sights

Disliked: The ensuite bathroom door in the shared dorm was broken - luckily it was all girls but guess it was just a one off

Liked: Great location and felt very safe as a single girl, fab place to meet people, really clean and friendly staff. Really good value for money for a city centre. Shame I was up to early to have the free breakfast!

Disliked: The squeaky bed sheets, although I understand the reason for this..... Rooms really hot but it is Athens after all!!!!

Liked: The rooms are big and comfortable, the location is superb, staff is friendly and nice and the atmosphere is young and positive. It's the perfect place for someone who's traveling alone or with friends, and it's cheap too. Also, the bar on the roof is cheap, nice, and has a great view to the Acropolis.

Disliked: The shower head on my floor didn't work, but I guess that's just temporary. But that is the ONLY thing that was wrong.

Liked: The location is great, just around the corner of the Acropolis museum and near the entrance to the Acropolis. Plaka and its many tavernas are a stonethrow away. Nevertheless ist was in a quiet side street. People at the reception are friendly and easy going.

Disliked: Travellers were mostly very young and ignorant of other peoples sleep. The matresses are covered with plastics which makes a lot of noise when moving. If you don't have a laptop with you they charge for using the internet. Cleanliness was not that great.

Liked: It has an awesome location, and it was nice to only share a bathoom with five other people. There was a stove in our room and a little balcony, too!

Disliked: There isn't really a common space to meet people if you are in the studios. It didn't end up mattering for us because the people in our room were awesome. The main part looked great, though--really modern and fun

Liked: Hostel was close to the metro and pretty central right infront of the Acropolis. In a good neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was pretty good.

Disliked: Our room was up on the last floor and had to walk outside on the deck to get to it. We didnt get internet up there. The rooms were not very clean and the shower was cold.

Liked: we stayed in the studio rooms and found it to be very very good. the 6 bed dorm rooms are very large, the kitchen facilities are good and the bathroom was amazing. the best shower we have had in a long time. the people on the desk were helpful, if not a little busy. the roof toop bar is nice to meet people.

Disliked: the distance between the main backpackers and the studio apartments is a bit dissapointing. and...the staff in reception at the studios are not available 24 hours as promised . there was no one to check us out at 6am so we had to leave our key and walk out? bit odd for that time of the morning. it was also a little annoying to be directed via hostelbookers to check in at the backpackers, be told once there to wait until 2pm. at 2pm we were simply told to go to the studios to check in. it would have been easier to tell us this when we first arrived.
