it was clean, and for day time hours, the hostel had a great location, the market in front of the hotel created a great atmosphere, and it was only 5mins walking away from Plaka and all the tourist attractions.
This did not have a good location though at night. the market closes down over night and the street is very bare and dark with prostitutes working outside, but a taxi from the centre back to the hotel is really cheap so this wasn't a problem.

The location was good for sight seeing, however the area is not one of the best. Having got over the initial shock of the hookers on the corner at night we did feel safe coming and going. External noise is very loud, with music into the small hours on the Friday night and a fruit and vegetable market next door but you expect some downside with such a reasonable price.

The short distance from the city center. But the hostel is located in front of an uggly, smelly and noise fruit & vegetables market.

the location was good and view from our window on the acropolis, but make sure you try and get a room on one of the top floors other wise your only view is of a brickwall. nothing to complain about the room was as we expected and for a hostel in Athens this is very unique.

Location, 2 steps away from Akropolis, Plaka etc, neighbourhood not very neat, but for being downtown, it´s worth it!!

Centrally-located in the Monastiraki district. Subway is within 15 minutes walk. Lots of cheap groceries and eateries in the area.

It's only about a 15 minute walk to the acropolis and a 15 minute walk to the archeology museum north of town. Also, it's very close to the metro stop.
Simple, clean, cheap and breakfast to boot.
