Location Information

Getting around: Public transport around Athens is cheap and includes buses, trolley buses, trams and a metro (electric train) service. Tickets must be validated in orange machines on board or at the metro station. Taxis are fairly inexpensive and widely available. Driving is not recommended for visitors in the city.
