Liked: Being able to, amazingly, check in @ approx 1.45am (due to flight in being delayed by nearly 4 hours). Fantastic, friendly and extremely hard-working & dedicated management et al . Location was tops, also metro stop just up the road to whizz around elsewhere - even back to the airport.

Liked: Location to the Acropolis, metro, and the Plaka shopping and restaurants was great. Very clean and secure. Great staff as well. We have a group returning in two years and they will stay at the Studios!

Liked: It was nice to have space and privacy in the apartment and to feel secure. Very nicely designed and lovely staff.

Liked: It was clean and self-sufficient. There was internet connection and a flat screen TV, clean sheets and towels. The hostel receptionist/owner also provided a map of Athens with all the places of interest listed and how to get there. It was very helpful.

Liked: Just the fact that everyone was so chill and the location couldn't have been more central. Not to mention, it was bar none the cleanest and most modern hostel I've stayed in, in all of Europe.

Liked: We had the largest room available and it was decent sized with a comfortable bed and a nice kitchenette. The sofa in the '"iving room" folded out to a bed to sleep a third person and there are laundry machines right next door.

Liked: In the Studios you get you own separate lounge area to just chill on the sofa.

Liked: The hostel is amazingly close to sites like the acropolis and right by a metro station. By staying at the studios you still get to enjoy all the services at Athens Backpackers, like internet and the roof top bar, but you can get away from the noise if you need to get some sleep before an early ferry.
