It was a great location; in the heart of Plaka, near the historic sights and around LOTS of restaurants, cafes, bars. Was pretty dingy, though; old furnishings, the bathrooms leaving MUCH to be desired!!

The staff was helpful for the most part. Waled of the night shift is particularly friendly and helpful. Anything you need this guy can and will do for you. Kathy is also very helpful.

Place is in a great location! Right in the Plaka and not far from Acropolis. Clean and friendly staff.

Simple nice rooms. We got a corner double room - the upside was that we got a wraparound semi-private terrace that overlooked the restaurants and street below. The downside was that the room had two twin beds, not a double. I guess its a plus if you're not a couple. Also, stay away from the breakfast unless you like chocolate syrup on your french toast. Your 5 euro might be better spent on bfast outside the hostel.

a safe place,with aircon in room which is very good,
however lack of refridgerator and one keys for each room means u have to ask the counter if anyone is in the room each time u enter the hostel

I really liked the shady courtyard as it was a great place to meet other people plus it had 2 large screen TV's. The location was really good, about 5mins from the Acropolis and i felt safe walking around this area at night.

Our room had a view of the acropolis and was right in the centre of Plaka, so close to everything. Internet is free (usually a wait but not too long). Our room had air conditioning!

The location of this hostel is ideal as it is super central. The acropolis and the rest of the main historic sites are a short walk away, and the hostel is surrounded by bars and places to eat. It is also a really safe place (particularly if you're a woman travelling alone). The guys at the front desk are chatty and fun, but the hostel courtyard shuts at 12, so you have to make your own fun after that.
