 John the young owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful, he does everything he can for the guests. When the bus could not make it to the Temple of Aphaia, he even offered to drive us. He also serves the breakfast to your table, and helped me call the hotel in Athens where I am staying next. The breakfast included was good too. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony looking at the beach or the streets with cute shops and houses with colourful bouganvillea flowers. I was very satified with my stay at Hotel Rachel. Aghia Marina is quiet during low season, but it was good for me because the beach nearby was not crowded, the sun is not scorching, and the water was still warm enough to swim.

Great place to stay for a few days relaxation. John and Maria are lovely hosts. Clean and comfortable with the beach only a few seconds walk away. Highly recommended for basic accomodation.

Yianni and Maria were great hosts. They made sure we were comfortable and provided us with amenities we needed. It is also very close to the beach!

Great location near beach, but quiet at night. Staff very friendly and keen to help, room was small but adequate. Great budget hotel for backpackers.

It was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. It was just a few feet from the beach which was great too.

Right in the center of Agia Marina, perfect for the busy summer time. Friendly people all over town, alway willing to help. The main strip is about one and half city blocks long, so a lot of stores/bars/taverna's are close by.
Go see Temple of Apeana!
P.S. Bring bug spray, we got eating up by mosquitoes...

Excellent value for money, friendly family run hotel. They speak excellent English. The location could not be better. My partner would recommend them to woman travellers.
