Overview
The Botel derives its name from its proximity to our pristine lagoon which is home to crocodiles, turtles and many species of birds
Located only 4km from Cape Coast and 12km from the world famous Kakum Rainforest national park. The Botel offers our guests a refreshingly different holiday experience. Botel is the ideal location for visisting school groups.
Many Scientist and scholars have choosen Botel as their home when reserching the Fauna and Flora of the rain forest in nearby Kakum National Park.
Hans Cottage Botel is home to numerous creatures of the lake, the forest and the surrounding trees. During your visit you can observe crocodiles and waterfowl in the lake and even feed them yourself.
Delight in the antics of the local weaverbirds as the males compete in nestbuilding to impress females. Different species of monkeys are in the area and occasionally become temporary residents of Botel.
