Liked: Cheap (for Accra) and central. Very clean, working non-noisy AC. Breakfast quite diverse (for Ghana, in this price range)

Disliked: None really, room rather small but fine. Not very lively when I was there.

Liked: The property was clean and safe. Some of the accommodations can be a little cramped, but you also get to know your roommates quickly that way! They now have FREE WIFI and also have a pretty generous breakfast included. I stayed there for about three weeks and all of the staff and the owner went out of their way to make sure that I was happy and comfortable. Highly recommended for short and long term stays.

Disliked: Some of the accommodations (mostly the 4 person rooms) are small. Water pressure varies from room to room. Some are quite good, some less so. It also varies depending on what time of day you want to shower and is usually better at night.

Liked: The food is ok.

Disliked: The booking did not work at all! When we arrived (already grumpy and with an expensive taxi from the Airport) at night they told us they never got a booking. After long discussions we ended up in a dorm that happened to be empty. They refused to give us back the 10 € we made as a reservation deposit via Hostelbookers, since they never got the booking and we had to pay the full price. After all a very bad start of our travel. There are several more central locations like the Rising Phoenix. Another Note of warning: lots of hostels in Accra are shown in the wrong location in Hostelbookers.

Liked: Nice place. Staff wasn't especially friendly. It is a safe place with air conditioning/laundry service/free breakfast. I would recommend this to other travelers

Liked: The Pink hostel is a good place to stay on the initial days of arriving in Accra because its safe, comfortable, breakfast is included and generally speaking the staff were friendly. However its quite expensive compared to most exciting hostels in Osu which is where a lot of travellers tend to congregate. Also, the hostel is generally used by big groups doing volunteer projects. I wouldn't recommend it to someone travelling alone for the reason that its not really a great place to meet people.

Liked: Quite good but the should turn on the generator during the power cuts in the day. Not only atnight. It was very hot inside because there was no AC during the day. (the was a powercut for a full day in whole Accra)
