The hostel is convenient the S bahn and U bahn lines and only a short commute into town. It is also conveniently located near the Mercedes-Benz museum as well as the fair grounds for the Canstatter Volksfest festival. The community of Untertürkheim where the hostel is located is a sleepy little community without much nightlife but rather provides a quiet and safe backdrop with all necessary ammenities for travellers. Of all the hostels I have frequented, this is by far the cleanest and best maintained of the lot.

We had to take a taxi to find the very nice location. It was no the other side of the cannyon and not too close to town. But was well worth the location. Breakfast was includuede and wonderful. we caught a bus to go to the Black Forsest walk and enjoy the walk downtown.. It was all down hill . We could only stay one night wished for more. It will be well worth it . when we got back they took us to the train station which saved alot of time. One of our best places to stay. Plan to stay more if you can

The hostess on arrival was so lovely and gave us a beer each. The comfiest beds in the whole of europe - seriously! Good kitchen but no chairs to sit at the table. This is probably beacuse they were renovating. It would be good to include a handbasin in the toilets in the renovations. The only issue was that as a female I had to wait until the men had finished in the showers as the cubicles only had see through screens. Our room as clean, bright & breezy!
