The youth hostel has undergone extensive renovation work over the past few years and is particularly suitable for school classes and seminar groups involving up to 60 persons.

Located on the Danube River in Bavaria, this medieval town contains many buildings of exceptional quality that testify to its history as a trading centre and to its influence on the region from the 9th century.

This age restriction does not apply to group leaders or families accompanied by at least one minor. A surcharge on the quoted price is charged to guests older than 27.

The prerequisite for admission to a YH is membership with the DJH or any other organisation of the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF). Membership may also be acquired on site at Youth Hostels.

Youth Hostels are primarily aimed at young people and families.

Children and groups of young people must be accompanied by at least one person responsible for their supervision.

3 single rooms, 3 with shower/wc
2 twin-rooms, 2 with shower/wc
6 3-bedded rooms, 5 with shower/wc
17 4-bedded rooms, 2 with shower/wc
7 5-bedded rooms, 7 with shower/wc
4 6-bedded rooms, 1 with shower/wc
2 7-bedded rooms, 2 with shower/wc
3 8-bedded rooms

We offer attractive dorms for the youngsters. As far as possible, teachers and group leaders are accommodated in private rooms.
Family dorms are also available, some of them with an en-suite shower/WC.
Nine day or conference rooms stand at the ready for our guests.
