Liked: The staff were extremely friendly. Beds really comfortable. They offer a free walking tour which is a MUST DO was brilliant and really informative. The bar meant you could meet new people and it was sooo close to the train station.

Disliked: The only thing I wasnt a massive fan of was that you had to pay for internet and it wasnt that fast but that may be becasue internet in munich is expensive?

Liked: Wombats was fun. We stayed in a 6 bunk-bed dorm with its own bathroom. It felt secure and we had our own free lockers. it had a bar/breakfast room. The breakfast was good. The atruim/chill out zone was great for when we had checked out.

Disliked: We had a room which overlooked the street. With the windows shut it was quiet. However the room got so hot at night that we had to leave them open and consequently it was extremely loud. We were supplied with a tiny little fan thing which was pretty useless. Ask for a room not overlooking the street. This is not Wombats' fault but the "free" guided tour was not enjoyed at all (also the feeling of others in the group, some or whom ran off!). We felt that the guide did not care if we were having a good time or not. He kept up almost a running pace while talking so you could hardly hear him and we were made to be felt like stupid school kids. Avoid it! The Dachau tour however was outstanding!

Liked: best place in munich to stay!! check out Ozzie's walking tour! he rocks!! the staff where great and the breakfast was worth every penny!

Liked: the rooms were great, i like having the bathroom in the room. and the staff was great and helpful. The bar was soo alive, tons of people. location was awesome!!!! Near the train station.

Disliked: the internet was too slow, like it took 5 mins for a page to load. :(

Liked: very good location with a good downstairs bar. also on suite shower room with each 6 person bedroom.

Liked: Awesome location right next to the train station. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There is a nice bar with cheap drinks.

Liked: Good location next to the station and an easy walk into town. Great atmosphere with a big communal area and bar to spend the night in. Big airy rooms, friendly staff.

Disliked: Not much to dislike, except that at the weekend there were lots of hen/stag parties around.

Liked: Fun bar, nice rooms with big lockers for your stuff. I'm travelling alone and did the free walking tour on my first day, the tour guide was great and it was a good way to get to know other people who I could explore the city with later on. Was sad to leave at the end of my stay!!

Disliked: very big, could be kind of intimidating trying to get to know people at the bar on your own
