Liked: Really great location, right across from train station and within walking distance to tons of restaurants, beer gardens and shopping. Not too loud and pretty clean with a good bar and hang out area with hammocks and bean bag chairs.

Liked: the staff are great!!!! garden area was perfecto!!!! and the bar at night is buzzing!!!!!

Liked: Everything was excellent apart from the bathroom situation (see Dislike ;)

Disliked: Each room had its own (poorly insulated) bathroom and there were no communal bathroom facilities. So expect a lot of noise and some queues in the morning.

Liked: Very good atmosphere - the bar always drew a really nice crowd

Disliked: The music in the bar was played too loudly sometimes.. Pool should be free to play. Even if thats not possible, 1 euro is pretty expensive..

Liked: Centrally located (by the main train station), but so are most hostels in Munich. It definitely gathered a fun and social crowd; whether you wanted a calmer group in the lounge or rowdy fun in the bar it was there. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced, rooms were clean and the keycard system for doors/lockers was really easy to use and secure.

Disliked: A little pricey, when it looked like all the hostels in the area were similar, also the computers were expensive to use and there was no wifi in the rooms, only the lounge in the lobby, which closed at 11, and wifi went down routinely at prime hours. Also, no kitchen, but that's Munich's fault, not theirs.

Disliked: Hot and sweaty. In this day and age, are bunk beds really still acceptable? Creaky ones at that. Getting up early is awkward for fear of waking the person under you.

Liked: Good atmosphere with good facilities and decent bar. within walking distance of other good bars and sights around munich

Disliked: Maybe just a bit noisy due to its central location but this was not a real problem as a central location was what i wanted

Liked: Everything about it! Very close to the main station, they offer a lot of activities within and outside the hostel eg. Neuschwanstein day trip, Dachau Concentration Camp tour etc...free walking tour with Ozzie is excellent! Probably the best you will ever go on! Breakfast is amazing for like 3 euro! Bar is awesome, happy hour is the best...3 euros for like a 1.5L jug of beer! Pub crawl everynight (although most peeps i met did not enjoy it!)...rooms are nice and clean....they have elevators! ensuites in room! they pretty much have it all!!Possibly the best hostel i have stayed at!

Disliked: Having to leave!

Liked: Easy to access and nice spot in the atrium

Disliked: Ridiculously noisy at night. Between the street and the other dorms I had very little sleep. One fan for a room of 6 on a 30degree night was aweful

Liked: In terms of location and the atmosphere, I think this is the best hostel I've ever been to, the staff is nice, and it's very clean, I love it. Will stay there again if I go to Munich again.

Disliked: The WiFi is only available in the lobby, a bit inconvenience

Liked: I really liked the atmosphere. The lounge area was nice as well and the bed was really comfortable.

Disliked: It might be quite noisy in the evening and the wifi was extremely slow.

Liked: GREAT atmosphere, great location (extremely close to main Hauptbahnhof station), welcoming feeling, loved the wintergarden area and hammocks, and the bar was a great place to meet fellow travelers. Karaoke night was really fun as well.

Disliked: I have no complaints whatsoever.

Liked: Comfy beds. Free lockers for each person in the rooms. Friendly staff. I'd stay at Wombats again.

Disliked: The hostel was a little big for my taste so it all depends on the roommates you get placed with, especially if you're traveling alone. Still a great place to stay

Liked: it had a great location right by hauptbanhoff which made traveling easy. The bar was great and there was a nice little area to sit and get on the internet or just be in a common area. The tour to Dachau started right in reception and was well worth the money. The internet itself however is very slow and not good for much.

Disliked: The only negative I have is the internet being slow.
