Cozy atmosphere made it easy to meet people and even though the large dorms have 40 beds they're nicely divided so they still feel quite private. GREAT location too!

Location is excellent and the staff were helpful, however, the 40 person dorm was AWFUL. The heat was unbearable and a ceiling fan would have been nice. Also, the smell in the dorm was terrible...A possible contribution to this is, upon arriving my sheets were filthy. One more thing that pissed me off: There is no soap in the bathrooms (not even the public ones by the bar).

Cubby 3! Mezzo Mix! Plum Surprise! The people I met in my cubby made my stay in Munich. We all bonded and fell asleep and woke up telling jokes and stories. We ended up hanging out with each other during our whole stay. The atmosphere at Jaeger makes it easy to meet new people. The only thing is that we would end up coming home drunk at 4am and would cause a big ruckus. Everyone in the 40 person dorm hated us and the management was really rough on one guy for making noise. I'm not saying that people weren't up late. People usually stayed out til 2am or so.

Good buzz- fun bar, and common area. Right next to station, and they sponsor NEW MUNICH WALKING TOURS- excellent value for money since theyre free and work on a tips only basis (they dont expect heavy tips either!) Clean, safe and relatively inexpensive.......everything youd ask from a hostel.

A very good atmosphere for young people. Very nice bar and good breakfast in the morning. The front desk staff was very helpful and we had a great time in Munich.

Great hostel, with really clean and comfortable rooms. Just make sure you don't stay in the 40-bed room... we were booked in it at first, and went down to look at our bed and upgraded right away- it's a smelly, dirty, basement room with lockers outside on the patio. Our second room was fantastic tho.

its a great location, u can easily hook up to other guys in the room, the staff is really nice and everything is very orgenized and clean.
