The Hostal is very nice, with a lot of young backpackers. We were in a group of seven, and besides, the problems at arrival, we enjoyed a lot the hostal. The room for 40 people is OK for its price but of course it is not very confortable.
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A CHEAP BIKE TOUR AROUND MUNICH; ASK AT THE RECEPTION ABOUT THE FREE BIKE TOURS, IT WAS AWNSOME AND WE JUST HAD TO PAY CHIPS. IT WORTHS A LOT:

It is just 5min walk from the Hauptbahnhof. It is actually a hotel-hostel. Therefore there is no curfew for check-in and the staff is eager to answer your question.
