Liked: They are very closely located to an Ubahn stop so the city center is really easily accessible. There is a bar located downstairs, I never went, but it seemed really popular. The hostel itself sits on a pretty quiet street so traffic noise wasn't a major issue like it can be at other hostels. Comfy bed and nice big ensuite bathroom.

Disliked: The shower didn't drain well.

Liked: 1) Location to nearest metro. 2) Location to main train station in Munich. 3) Safe 4) Cheap wifi (1 Euro for 30 min, 2 Euro for 24 hours, 3 Euro for 48 hours)

Disliked: 1) Although it was safe, it felt like it was a party place for local teens, as I am a 24 yr old female that roomed with other 20 yr old females, and in the hallways were 16 year old Jenny Humphreys (from Gossip Girl) literally running up and down and chasing after boys around 1 am. That was a bit annoying. They clearly did not stay at the hostel. 2) Some of the staff do not know English at all. Even if you motion things with your hand, they just give you a blank stare.

Liked: Many services like bar, washing machines, internet, bike rental. Also close to the main station which is very helpful.

Disliked: The employees at the desk all seem very young and inexperienced, I was continuously delayed due to their inability to deal with guests quickly. My key card stop working 3 times out of the 6 days I was there, meaning I had to queue for about 10 minutes to get it fixed at the desk. The first 3 nights there were other guests running around and "partying" in the hallways until 3 in the morning even though there is in fact a bar, at no point did the staff try and control the situation. Breakfast is 4.90 for toast, cereal and tea, very expensive for such basic options.

Liked: The location is very near to the center: 100 mt away from the underground station, and 2 stops away from Marienplatz. The beds are quite comfy.

Disliked: The rooms are old, shabby and dirty; the bathrooms are horrible. But what's worst, when we arrived (in the evening, as we previously announced, NOT early in the morning) we found some other people in the rooms we booked, and they made them change room to make place for us. It's utterly inacceptable to make people swap beds once they've settled, unless it's an emergency (but, some other guests told us, they keep on doing it as a rule); besides, we booked weeks in advance, so the hostel knew perfectly that we were arriving and had the duty to let us find the rooms free and clean on time. Of course, nobody went to clean up even the bathroom after they moved the other people, so we inherited their dirt in the bathroom (by the way, there are bathtubes) and their heap of trash. If it wasn't for this clear disrespect for the guests, we'd come over the general shabbines of the rooms (it's a hostel after all, though I stayed in much better ones).

Disliked: The bar area is very poorly lit. 2 euros a day for poorly working internet is not great either.

Liked: Fine hostel--clean and renovated

Disliked: Everything was just simply annoying. Paying for wifi is simply annoying. That they ran out of locks for the lockers was simply annoying. No bathrooms outside the room to use upon leaving/picking up luggage was simply annoying. They really push a lot of buttons.

Liked: Cheap, REALLY COMFY BEDS, good location and nice modern, clean dorms and bathrooms. Really cheap.

Disliked: No seating area in the kitchen.

Liked: Big rooms, private bathrooms, bar on site, great atmosphere, close to main station/other sights. Breakfast available (for a fee).

Disliked: Have to pay for wireless internet (there are multi-day plans, but would be nice if it was included).

Liked: Nice big 6 bed dorm. ita was clean and good location

Disliked: when i came it was saturday and live music show. i lost my voice at the rception desk because at same time they serve the drinks ( do something with that). An i got 8 bed dorm that was so dirty and no bed linen changed. Then on my request i moved to 6 bed dorm that was big and clen but the next day when dorm was cleaned my bed linen was changed and my towel cosmestics and underwears gone( I was alone in the dorm so romates didnt took the things). They only return me towel and and I just ger one sorry and they have a nerve after that to charge me internet 2 euro for 1 hour. At least I could got that for free instead of sorry.

Liked: Great location, right next to ubahn. Pleasant staff, clean. Nice place to meet other people.

Disliked: No free wifi, it was cheap but also kinda crappy. Other then that I enjoyed my stay.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and it is located very close to a subway station. The rooms are pretty nice and it was fairly cheap for Munich.

Disliked: There was a hole in the sliding wall of our shower so the floor would get soaked whenever you used it. On our last night there, there was a music festival in Munich and there was some band playing at the hostel. They wanted to make me pay to get back in to the hostel because I hadn't paid to see the band. I had to argue with the guy to let me in. It was pretty hard to sleep that night too because the band was so loud. These problems weren't that bad though. The main problem was that two nights in a row a guy who had already checked out of the room was able to get back in at about 3 am. The first night he took a shower and left, and the second night he tried to kick one of my roommates out of the room. This is probably very uncommon, but it made me feel unsafe and really ruined this hostel for me.

Liked: The cleaniness was great for the place. The hostel was being refurbished while we were there, and everything was brand new, definatley worth a stay and the money! All the staff were fabulous as well. One of the nicest hostels we've stayed at!!

Disliked: Nothing.
