Liked: Very accessible and easy to find.

Disliked: Drinks, breakfast, & internet etc a bit overpriced.

Liked: The room and environment of Meininger hostel was good. The location is just less than 5mins walk away from the metro. (a good location though) The staffs were nice and helpful.

Disliked: Maybe is the wi-fi. Connection was not good. Internet is kind of slow.

Liked: It is directly opposite Augustiner Brauben which is a great place for lunch and dinner and amazing beer!!!! Decent breAkfast although you can probably get something better at sandwich stands for a lot less.

Disliked: No wifi in the room. Guest kitchen is small and rather untidy. Lift is extremely small and fits about 4 person.. So you can imagine the wait...- we stayed on the highest floor and have no desires to climb the stairs.

Liked: Very clean, spacious building and friendly staff

Disliked: The wi-fi wasdown while I was staying there, which made planning the rest of my trip extremely difficult. From what other travelers said, this probably isn't an ongoing problem.

Liked: The second gentlemen who served us. He was super helpful, apologised for his colleague, explained how to find our room, gave us the complimentary map and highlighted all that Munich has to offer. I also loved the location, it's right next to the Augustine B(somethingsomethingaratherter), which is the best place to eat in all of Germany. The breakfast is an extra charge but worth the 3 Euro, absolutely delicious and still the cheapest meal of the day.

Disliked: The initial woman who served us, she was pompous and extremely rude. She snatch snatched our Euro, shoved the key in my hand and wished us luck. Luckily she had made a mistake with a bed and her colleague took care of us. I also disliked my roommate. But that's not your fault.

Liked: Good location. The bar is OK. Staff friendly and helpfull

Disliked: Stairs. And the elevator wasn´t working and wasn´t fixed during the 2 days i stood there. Luggage room at the basement, stairs again!

Liked: Our room was very clean, modern, and comfortable.

Disliked: The walls are quite thin, and we had a child in the next room who screamed through the night & morning, so it was a bit hard to sleep. Not really the hotel's fault, though.

Liked: It was very easy to get to from the airport. Quick walk to the train station which gets you everywhere, and right across from one of Munich's best beer houses.

Disliked: Nothing, except having to share 2 bathrooms with a dorm of 14 people was hard in the morning.

Liked: Good decent breakfast and okay rooms. One S-bahn stop from the main train station and just a few from the center.

Liked: The hostel was clean, except for the kitchen.

Disliked: EXTREMELY crowded dorm room (14 person). No wifi. No laundry. Main floor under construction. Small kitchen.

Liked: Meininger is a wonderful chain of hostels and the Munich branch is my favorite one. Right across the street from one of the best and busiest beer halls (Augustiner) and only a five minute walk to the Metro, it is in a great location. The staff is excellent and helpful at all hours of the day. The rooms are good, some with windows and balconies for fresh air and ensuite bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: I thought the internet price was a little high, but considering how cheap the nightly rate was, I can't really complain.
