It had an elevator so I didn´t have to go up heaps of stairs with my heavy backpack! The bar was also good because there truely is NOTHING around that area... The neighbours in the apartment block were nice too... they took us out to an impromtu club which was awesome! I wouldn´t recommend it as THE hostel to stay at in Munich but its cetainly up there. It was also better than the Easy Palace where the staff are just weird....

This place is clean and institutional but is in a close location to the train station and has a great beer hall right across the street.

The staff was very helpful. Rooms were nice and spacious. I recommend taking the free tour promoted in the lobby - it is very good.

the location, it is only one stop from the munich main train station. don't take a taxi just take the S-bahn it is quick and convenient.

not too far from the main train station although it is a little bit of a walk with luggage. staff was really helpful and nice.

The place is done up but it was full of school kids and not so great for meeting people. Breakfast is pretty good. There's only a bathroom within each dorm so it's a bit of a struggle in a 14 bed dorm. You also have to get permission to use the kitchen. expensive internet

I love the Meininger Hostels, they're always clean and decent, and the staff are always friendly.

Comfy beds and good linen, beer garden and helpful staff, however as the en suite shower and toilet were in the same unit, it led to extra long queing time in the morning... not a good idea and the 10 man dorm got very stuffy and overheated leading to a sighful restless night from all concerned.
