Rion SwartzOverall nice place to stay, good location within walking distance of main sites. Convenient and close to train station, good breakfast, good overall value for the price. Wifi was available in restaurant at breakfast time, but we couldn't get it to work. |

Ashley ClaytonI found Hotel Modern to be very convenient for my short stay. It is very close to the main train station which was a big plus for me considering I arrived in town after midnight. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, nothing special, but perfectly suited my needs. I would definately recommend staying at this place to the budget traveller. |

Kristina Atanasovafirst we hadn't a door in the badroon and the TV didn't work! after that they changed the room but in the other room the TV didn't work too! the breakfast was without fruit and vegetables!!! the room wasn't so clean... if you have other choices, please choose them and don't go there! it's for your good! the only nice thing was the location! |

Heather BrueskeThe hotel gives out a great map of the city. Extremely close to the station. The location is sketchy - has a strip club right across the street and prostitutes hanging around a little ways down the block. Very easy to take the subway to the center of town, or even walk if desired. |

Customer reviewI let the staff know about drainage problems in the ensuite every morning without any solution. When I asked for a discount because facilities were substandard they made excuses. Not happy with the 3 staff I dealt with, and left very unhappy. |
