Liked: Location is perfect, just 2 min from the central station. Stuff was extremely nice and helpful. I've got free welcome beer which I could drink in the bar next to the reception. My room was clean and nice and I paid just 16e for 6beded dorm. I highly recommend 4u!

Disliked: the internet doesn't work in the rooms. the rooms are very small and dark. It was very cold and in the bathroom was nothing to hang the clothes while taking a shower. it was very loud because the walls are extremely thin...

Liked: it is located in a good and convenient place that is near to the train station and major attractions. The hostel is clean and I felt safe staying there. In addition, the staffs are friendly and helpful. Met many friendly and interesting guests staying there.

Disliked: The individual night light for my bed was not working. It would be good if these lights can be fixed so that we can still do our own stuff without disturbing the other guests who are sleeping.

Liked: for munich it is really cheap and good value for money. The breakfast was super awesome! The location of the hostel is very good, very central, its easy to get around by foot.

Disliked: the showers are horrible. there is no room to put your dry clothes or to even hang up your towel.

Liked: The location by the train station is very convenient, and directions provided made it easy to find. The reception being staffed 24hours meant we did not worry about travel delays affecting our arrival time. All rooms were clean, spacious and well decorated and the sleeping areas pretty quiet from 10pm-7am as requested. The beds were very comfortable, and water hot. Breakfast was delicious and plenitful. We thought it was very good value.

Disliked: I would have been grateful to have access to a kitchen or at least a source of hot water for making drinks.

Liked: It was in a good location

Disliked: No events happening. Nothing pushing to have people spend time in the bar. It was fairly dull. Showers were terrible - no hooks to put clothes so I was always ending up with all of my stuff wet. Nothing to dry hands in bathroom. The drawers in the rooms were just wired and not too secure, could see what was in them.

Liked: Does what it says on the tin, its clean, warm and friendly you can ask for more! Check out Alex's bar cheap booze to set you up for the evening, it's also a great place to meet over solo travellers. Alex has a great knowledge of the city make use of him!

Disliked: One complaint I have is that you can be locked in your room by one of your room mates, if you need the loo at 3am it can make it tricky to get out without waking everyone else up!

Liked: It was nice and close to the train station and easy to find. They give you a complimentary beer coupon when you check in.

Liked: the location is very good. it's not far away from the Haupbahnhof. Breakast is already included in the price.

Disliked: the only thing i didnt like is there is no wifi available in the room. wifi is work only in the ground floor.

Liked: Cheap, cental, close to the Haputbahnhof, good hot showers, included breakfast... And the hostel has a bar which serves up cold beers on arrival (one free drink included!) Pretty much a tick in every box :) Did I mention how cheap it was?! Would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: I heard rumour that they tend to not mix people from different countries in the dorms... A bit backward I think. Even though I live in Germany I still have an Australian passport, which means that myself and my two mates were in a dorm with three other Aussies. Half the fun of hostels is meeting cool people from other places, so that sort of ruined it a bit!

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay here. 24 hour hot showers, great all you eat breakfast, and prime location right near the Munich hbf train station.

Disliked: There were a few nights where my roommates were a bit loud, but hey, what can you expect when you're rooming with 11 other people? Nothing bad enough to complain about really.

Liked: some of the other travellers i met were great.

Disliked: becasue there is no age limit, many of the people in my dorm were over 60 years old and snored all night long. the staff were not helpful or friendly at all. couldnt get any information about munich or what to do from them. you had to have a specific question about exactly what you wanted to do otherwise they couldnt help you at all. when i asked for a map of the city they just handed it over without even showing me where the hostel was let alone where any of the sights were on it.

Liked: Really cheap. A decent breakfast spread. Good wifi access. Next door to the Munich HBF makes for convenient traveling. Within easy walking distance of many interesting sites and neighbourhoods in Munich. Overall an excellent place to stay especially if you are on a tight budget.

Disliked: This isn't so much a negative on the hostel itself as a consideration for the temperaments of different travelers. In terms of backpackers and travelers, Munich seems to attract a very specific crowd that is mostly interested in exploring the bottoms the one litre glasses of beer purveyed by many of the cities bars. This is all fine if that is something you want to do, but if not you may wish to consider staying elsewhere, as this hostel definitely caters to that crowd. That said, the price can't be beat!

Liked: The wifi went pretty well, which was a must for me. Also, the free breakfast was amazing.... we're talking cheese, meats, bread, cereal, juice, it was pretty awesome. Drinks at the bar were ridiculously cheap, especially considering the happy hour deal of a free shot with every 500ml or 1L beer. Really central, you can walk everywhere really from there (it's like 100 metres from the main station), but if you don't want to walk there's the S and U bahns, the trams or buses really close. while there wasnt a DIY kitchen there was an aldi nearby (100 m away) so you can always make yourself some good, cheap sandwiches. Staff were really friendly and helpful, showing you where to go, how to get to places, the best places to eat etc. the bar downstairs was great for meeting people, and the bar tenders were really friendly. Overall, considering the cheapness of the hostel (I think I paid about 10 euros a night), it was amazing! Hands down one of the best hostels I've stayed in.

Disliked: mmm, nothing really. One day the cleaning lady locked the bathroom to let the floors dry and forgot to unlock it, which was inconvenient, but apart from that, I had a blast.

Liked: Very convenient location, short walking distance from Munich Central Station. The bathrooms were modern and very clean, despite being quite busy. Ok breakfast which was topped up on request. Returnable bottles at reception. Luggage room.

Disliked: First arrival at night was a little off-putting, as there were lots of smokers outside the entrance in the street. The hostel would benefit from better directions on the website, including which exit to take form the Hauptbahnhof.

Liked: Great environment. Wonderful location - so close to train station. Very friendly and helpful people. I stayed in the large dormitory with about 14 people and honestly enjoyed it very much - a great opportunity to meet new people. The bar downstairs was superb! Another opportunity to meet other travelers. One of my favorites about this hostel: AMAZING BREAKFAST ASSORTMENT!!! They provided free computer usage to locate hostels (on different hostel websites) to prepare you for your next destination. I was so thankful for this!
