Liked: the room was clean and comfortable . I really liked this hostel because the owner, stuff and people stay in that hostel were so nice and helpful.

Disliked: location was not so good because you have to take train to get to the central city. only 15 to 20 minutes though.

Liked: The staff are sincere, obliging and warm. As soon as I walked in I was offered a hot meal and taken in by the atmosphere of the old-fashioned hotel feel. I haven't been to any other hostel which the staff are like a family (which some actually are) and taking guests by extension. Would highly recommend to anyone staying or travelling through Mainz

Liked: Leaving...The included breakfast was good.

Disliked: We weren't welcomed into the hostel, and the staff member who greeted us was insulting as much as he was helpful. Our non-smoking room reekd of smoke,and we think they let people smoke in the corridor. The bathrooms were in poor condition. Location was ridiculous for us, as we were just stopping in Mainz for one night.

Liked: It was very neat and clean, and had a friendly atmosphere. Thank you for accommodating us as a family in our own private dorm, we enjoyed our stay alot.

Liked: I will definitely stay in this hostel again if I visit Floersheim! Its really a nice place, staffs are really friendly and funny :), and the breakfast is GREAT!!!!! Best breakfast I had ever have in a hostel, and is inclusive in the fee as well!Strongly recommended!!

Liked: Nice place and price, but you have to use public transport to reach the nearest cities. So there is an inherent extra expense. Regards.

Liked: It was warm and it was clean.It is a little noisy as it is situation right next to a trainline and seems to be almost beneath the flight path but on the whole it is relatively quiet .It is a bit off the beaten path and well away from Mainz but this is clearly stated in the description given about the hostel if you actually read the description.

Liked: Friendly staff, bikes available and advice on where to go, good breakfast, cheap home cooked meals, good beer, very nice location if you don't want to stay in town.

Liked: A family run place outside Mainz, a bit off the beaten path, which means the rooms aren't nearly as crowded among other things. Trying to get there on a Sunday on the S-bahn is an exercise in patience.

Liked: The family that runs the hostel are wonderful people, ready to help with whatever situation pops up. Andre in particular is a great tour guide and has great suggestions for places to visit, restaurant, etc.. I plan on returning to the Mainz area just to have the opportunity to stay here again.
