HI Youth Hostel Lindau

Lindau Youth Hostel offer young people uncomplicated and inexpensive accommodation plus a programme of interesting things to do during their stay. We are at the corner of Germany bordering on Austria and Switzerland makes it particularly attractive as a leisure destination, and thanks to its relaxed atmosphere and modern facilities it is also the ideal setting for a class excursion.The hostel is only a few minutes' walk away from Lake Constance, and the nearby historical old quarter.

We offer attractive dorms for the youngsters. As far as possible, teachers and group leaders are accommodated in private rooms.
Family dorms are also available, some of them with an en-suite shower/WC.
Five day rooms stand at the ready for our guests.

The reception, conference rooms and day rooms are located in the Rosenhof, a listed mansion from the year 1832. As such, the hostel is one of Bavaria's most attractive in terms of location, comfort and the range of amenities it offers.

Important: For a stay with us a Hostelling International Membership is required. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of 3,10 Euro per night for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of more than 4.500 Youth Hostels worldwide. German residents aged 26 or younger can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for 12,50 Euro per year, older guests and families pay 21,00 Euro per year upon arrival.
Prices apply to guests aged 26 or younger. Older guests pay a surcharge of 4,00 Euro per person and night. All prices include breakfast and sheets.

Visitor's Tax (April 1 - October 15):
The charge per night for guests between 6 and 15 years is € 0, 95 and for guests over 16 years €1.55

Location Information

Lindau is situated close to the Alps on the banks of Lake Constance, the place where Germany, Austria and Switzerland meet, and is thus an ideal leisure destination. Situated opposite the Limare fun waterpark and spa in the Garden City area, the modernly appointed and comfortable youth hostel is particularly suited for families and is just a few minutes' walk away from the shores of the lake and the picturesque old quarter.

The leisure options and excursion destinations in the vicinity are practically limitless, no matter whether reached on foot, by bike, public transport or in one's own vehicle.
