Liked: sooooo close to Hbf and a short walk into town. Brekky was good value for money. We stayed in private room with ensuite that was really bright spacious and clean..would def stay there again...also, first 24hrs wifi is free and after that its cheap.

Disliked: nothing really...great great place.

Liked: This huge hotel/hostel has excellent location right in front of the railway station and very near to the city center. Very clean and comfortable dorm with private bath and bunk beds. Excellent buffet breakfast for only 4 euros!

Liked: Really close to Hauptbahnhof, so easy to get to just walk tot he bus area - and cross the road. Bar downstairs - but not much was happening there, drinks didn't seem very cheap.. Breakfast is not free also WIFI is not free (rude) and you have to pay extra for your sheets (and another 1 euro for a towel also) when you arrive - so you end up paying more when you get there.

Liked: The hostel was very clean and the facilities in the room were of a high standard. Reception were helpful. The beds were very hard though and didn't provide a happy nights sleep

Liked: It's an unremarkable hostel of the A&O chain which is pretty similar to all the other A&O hostels I've stayed in. (Think of A&O as of something like McDonald's - a corporate hostel exactly the same whether it is in Hamburg or in Leipzig - It's OK but nothing special and the experience is standardized on all A&O properties). It's centrally located just across the road from the Hauptbahnhof, clean, value for money, a no nonsense hostel with lots of school groups staying there. Like McDonald's it gets the job done.

Liked: I liked the atmosphere and friendlinness and helpjulness of the staff. And also, the cleanliness and confortability of the room and the location of the hostel close to the train station.

Liked: The hostel is literally right next to the main train station and not more than 10 minutes walk from the main sites of leipzig, shops etc. It's also very clean, with comfy beds and spotless bathrooms. There's also a bar in the hostel, which is handy when like me you don't want to go outside into a freezing cold hailstorm. The only down side is that the hostel is pretty big and so has an institutional feel - so if you're looking for a backpacker hangout, this probably isn't really it.

Liked: It was clean and the location was good (though Leipzig is pretty small so it would be hard to have a bad location). There are services on offer but they all cost alot (6 euro for breakfast is outrageous in a hostel and not having free wifi in this day and age is a bit of a joke). When I asked the receptionist where the nearest laundromat was she just pointed down, I had to ask where in the building before she actually said anything. A relatively ok priced bed but for less money you would get a lot more in places like Berlin.

Liked: Very near the train station, and the center or town. The A&O hostels are large, but for the most part do what they say. Its not the cozy close atmosphere of a backpackers hostels, but it is clean and convenient.

Liked: I couldn't have a decent internet connection in my bedroom, even if it was supposed to be available in the entire building. I had to go to the lobby if I wanted to go online. However, very good location and I would recommend it specially to young people.

Liked: I loved this hostel. Clean, safe, historic building, 5-10 minutes walk from downtown, restaurants, museums and 20 minutes from students bars. The staff is really helpful. I will recommend it to my friends for sure.
