Liked: Clean rooms and bathrooms, quiet location, the hostel in general (or at least other lodgers) were very quiet, the kitchen was clean and had a dishwasher, staff were helpful when it came to internet and suggesting a good area to eat. We were able to leave our luggage there in secure lockers for the day after we checked out. The location is great, walking distance from Reeperbahn, plus right outside the tube which took seconds to board a train to take us anywhere. There were not too many other lodgers so my friend and I ended up having a dorm to ourselves! The lodgers we did meet were friendly and sociable.

Disliked: There is a fee to use cook top facilities. The cleaning lady was very unfriendly and pushy.

Liked: The hostel was in a good location- close to St. Pauli and the Reeperbahn.

Disliked: This hostel was quite frankly BORING. The staff was less than helpful and a bit unpleasant. When my travel pillow went missing the woman at the front desk didn't even seem surprised that something could be stolen out of the room.

Liked: A few minutes walking from the bars/clubs area. Breakfast very nice and cheap.

Disliked: The atmoshphere is not very good to meet people. No free internet. Just 2 toilets and 2 showers for the hostel.

Liked: Location is right across from the S-bahn which is convenient

Disliked: The dorm room doors stay open all day to anyone which is not so safe for the luggage, and inconvenient having to store everything in the lockers all the time. Not much of a common room, and had to pay extra for arriving after hours, this is not made clear enough when booking the hostel. Beds weren't so comfy. The overall atmosphere felt pretty drab.

Disliked: So meny people sleeping in the flow of the enter, two bathrooms for 41 beds...

Liked: Just opposite the metro station. Clean.

Disliked: Had wi-fi but no computers and had to pay 3 euros to rent the laptop. Very small communal area, not good kitchen facilities.

Liked: nice neighbourhood (5 minutes from Reeperbahn).quiet

Disliked: the beds and matresses are the cheapest (ikea), hidden surcharges (bedsheets, late arrival (22.00), use of visa to pay (3% extra).

Liked: The hostel is located right by the S-bahn. The S bahn leaves every 3rd minute, which makes it even more central than it is.

Disliked: The hostel is located in a basement, there are no locks to the rooms, and the reception comes and goes as it pleases, it seems.

Liked: It had a good bar, lounge area and it was really cheap.

Disliked: What I didn't like was that we got kicked out at 11.30am every day and allowed in again at 5pm. Oh well, for €10 a night it was still good

Liked: The visitors.

Disliked: My own mistake though that i did not read all carefully, but they really charge you for every thing - linen, breakfast etc. if you are at least 2 you can get a hotel cheaper. Also - there are only 2 bathrooms per floor.

Liked: Ummm...... Toilet was clean!! Apart from that. Bought pasta to cook in kitchen, stove doesn't work and not even pots anyway. Place was broken into while I was asleep. Luckily I stayed in that night because everyone else lost phones etc, stolen from the lockers in the hallway.
