Liked: the location was sweet,only two stops to main station.there was nobody stayin there so had place to myself which is a good thing..The lady behind deck was ssoooooo helpful,didnt catch her name but she is there u will know who im talking about.

Disliked: Its a house turned into a hostel,so rooms lead of each other so people have to walk though ur room to go to the toilet.But i stayed in winter and there was nobody there,so was great.There is not much to do in the area and not much places to eat,but again only a short way from the centre.

Liked: The internet was free. It is not far from the main station. It was cheap and you get what you pay for.

Disliked: I disliked that it was essentially a flat in a block of flats that the owners were trying to make money of. My dorm room was linked to another meaning that other guests had to go through my room to get to there's. To be fair it is cheap, and you do get what you pay for but I'd rather pay extra and stay somewhere else in future.

Liked: Free internet, staff tried to be helpful

Disliked: Metro trains literally shook the room from about 6 in the morning to 12 midnight, shower curtain stuck to the bath, was a 25 minute walk from the centre so in bad weather you had to get the metro, which was only over the road but €1.30 everytime or €5.50 for the day after 9, water from the tap was dirty and not drinkable, looked like a 1950's guesthouse

Disliked: The U-Bahn is directly under the gasthouse, so everytime when the train comes, its pretty loud....

Liked: The location, right next to the U-Bahn, and the price. Since it is a very small place it feels welcomming.

Disliked: The kitchen closes at 9 and there is no other place to sit. The lockers in the room cannot be closed and they are not that big.

Liked: Location is amazing.

Disliked: Reception is open until 9pm, after that they charge you 5 euros per hour to stay open if you have to check in late. The kitchen closes at 9pm as well.

Liked: Good location across the road from S-Bahn station.

Disliked: Shabby rooms, overpriced. Having to pay extra for bed linen and towels soured the experience further.

Disliked: Somewhat overpriced, kitchen very small and closed from 9pm, internet turned off at 9pm, €10 to use the washing machine. Family room needs modernisation

Liked: I loved the man who worked the front desk, he gave me advise on the easiest ways to travel and what was worth my time to see. The hostel is also RIGHT next to a station so it did not worry me to stay out late because the walk was so short especially since i am alone. Also, it was nice that there was a full kitchen. I found no problem with a moldy atmosphere as other pepole have complained about

Disliked: When I first entered the place it seemed a bit sketchy, but it really grew on me. No lounge area. The people who stayed there were a bit wierd (which cant be helped); but overall I kept to myself this trip anyways and enjoyed the hostel.

Liked: room is clean but too small

Disliked: although staffs are friendly but not helpful. some of the facilities are restricted of using time

Liked: Nice and cosy atmosphere.

Disliked: It is strange to charge extra for bed linens! In my case I almost didnt get the linens I had already paid for the next night. The hostel reception could be run much better with little effort. The dorm has entrance to another dorm through the room. So all people coming in and out woke up everybody in the dorm through out the night. Not very pleasant!

Liked: Some of the rooms had nice art/decorations. It was right across the street from the U-bahn station.

Disliked: The front desk staff were not helpful at all, and one of them always seemed annoyed. They had no maps of the city. The bath tub was unusable because of major construction. There was no common room. There was a kitchen, but it closes at 9 PM. You have to pay extra if you come late and you have to call them, but some people did not have phones and therefore did not know what to do once they got to the main door.

Liked: Convenient location.

Disliked: The whole set up was focussed on extracting as much money as poss from guests. 3Euros for sheets, 10euros to do laundry, 2euros to store baggage. Kitchen was small and locked at 9pm. Reception didn't even have a map of the city.

Liked: Close to metro, and supermarket, 15 min walk from the city, friendly and helpful staff, lockers in rooms, wifi was good.

Disliked: The matresses were filthy, and because we had sleeping bags they didn't give us sheets or pillow slips, but I didn't want to put my sleeping bag down either. A converted apartment with plenty of beds crammed in, bathroom clean but one had a huge hole in the wall, no lounge area to hang out in. I would soely not recommend this because of the sleeping arrangement and cleanliness.

Liked: The receptionist from Lithuanian is very helpful & friendly. The rooms & toilet are clean. A pc with free internet and Wi-Fi available there.

Disliked: It's a bit confuse of the exit from the subway to the hostel cause there is quite a few exit there. However, once you get there then it will be easy. It will be good if more info/ explanation of the direction to the hostel is shown in the website. Try not to arrive late (before 8pm/9pm) otherwise they charge for Euro 5.

Liked: when we arrived we didn't think much of the place, in fact we were asking ourselves why we booked this place. The receptionist at the time seemed a little blunt in the way he was talking to some other customers. Our perception of the place changed when a new receptionist came, Vaida. She suggested places for us to go and even invited us to go for a drink so she could show us where best nightlife was. Our time in Hamburg became infinitely better after meeting Vaida

Disliked: small kitchen, had to ask for kitchen knives as they were stowed away in the back

Liked: Good place to stay. Kitchen available, free internet, laundry (sign said you had to pay but we were not charged) and a small place, which we found nice. It is extremely close to metro and not far from things to do.

Disliked: Kitchen was a bit small and there was some sort of construction/renovation in the bathroom wherein there was plastic taped to the tub.

Liked: Location was good, Metro station next to hostel, Rooms clean and neat. Free internet. Pharmacy, Food Store close.

Disliked: 50 euro a nigth for double room to much for this property. Shower was old and used. 3 % charge cause payment with credit card. Our room was next to entrance. At night new travelers arrived, was really loud.
