The city station hostel is situated near the center of the city Halle. Halle is very old university town with a lot of sights.
You can visit the Collections of the Franckesche Stiftungen, the old fortress Moritzburg built in the 15 th century and the State Gallery of Moritzburg.
Also you can make a trip to the castle Burg Giebichenstein.
A very famous sight is the old chocolate museum.
Every year the city is host to the annual international Handel-Festival.
