Youth Hostel Füssen

The hostel is located close to the historic city centre, some 10 minutes by foot from the train station. Füssen on the Lech, a view across the gables of the medieval town centre to the former St. Mang’s Benedictine Abbey and the High Palace (Hohes Schloss).

The Youth Hostel Füssen is just 1 km west of the centre of town in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps; it is a good base for outdoor activities such as hiking and bicycle tours. Local attractions include the castles at Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau (3 km). The hostel is very close to bus and rail terminals and the tourist information centre.
Enjoy the town's special charm while strolling through the town and taking a look at the shops: that, too, is something that is especially enjoyable in Füssen. Far from the roar of the traffic, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Reichenstrasse, wander down crooked lanes and discover many a fine souvenir. Culinary delights and typical beer gardens all inclusive, of course.

Reception openings: 7-12 a.m. and 5-10 p.m. By later arrival you have to CALL us till 10 p.m.
For a stay with us a Hostelling International Membership is required. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of 3,10 Euro for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of more than 4.000 Youth Hostel worldwide. German residents can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for 12,50 Euro per year (older than 26 years and for familiea: 21,00 Euro) upon arrival.
Prices apply to guests younger than 26 years. Guests older than 26 years pay a surcharge of 4 Euro per person and night. All prices include breakfast and sheets.

In summer bathing in 9 lakes, boat trip by Forggensee. In winter downhill and cross-country skiing as well as an artificially frozen skating rink.
