Liked: Probably the BEST free breakfast buffet out of all the hostels I have stayed at - cereals, bread, toast, yogurt, meats, cheese, milk, juice, coffee, etc. The location is very central too, just right next to the train station and 10 minutes away from the sights. Bathrooms and beds are generally clean.

Disliked: As others said, some of the other guests at the hostel looked questionable (yes, it is in a red light district)... on the first night, I was uncomfortable with another lady in my room who was quite unhygenic and left the room in a mess. I guess this is not the hostel's problem, but still it didn't leave me feeling very safe.

Liked: True to its claims, it is really in a central location and the staff are lovely! They're very helpful with whatever you need. It's just right across Hauptbanhof, close to the "sights" and some pubs. I did a lot of walking so I thought everything was just walking distance. :)

Disliked: I wish they could allow someone to check in earlier than 2pm if there is already an available room/bed. Even if they had to charge extra. There's nothing a beat traveler could ask for but to lie in bed after a long flight.

Liked: it's very near railway station

Disliked: the reception desk is on the third -floor and the elevator too slow to access.Breakfast room is same area as reception and it's too small for all clients.

Liked: great location, elevator to the 3rd floor! friendly staff.... great breakfast..lockers, storage..enjoyed my stay.

Disliked: long wait at the reception always!!!

Liked: Very nice staff, clean, great location, great free breakfast!!!

Disliked: being a girl and the area that it's in was a bit uncomfortable about how safe I would be coming back to the hostel at night... but no problem! The music some nights can be a bit loud but it's okay.

Liked: Excellent location, the breakfast is excellent (my mates and I keep talking about it), rooms are clean and I can assure you its the best place you could stay in Frankfurt.

Disliked: internet connection doesn't cover bedroom, and even in the lobby the connection is quite bad

Liked: It is right across the street from the rail station, so it's easy to get to, and the rest of downtown is within easy walking distance. The rooms are nice and big and clean. The ensuite bathrooms are also very big. The breakfast is an excellent spread for a hostel, everything you would need to make a sandwich, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, tea. It was quite good. The kitchen is available for use as well.

Disliked: The common are is nice, but it's a little small considering it's the only place you can access the free wifi. It also usually smells like smoke since people are allowed to smoke off the tiny balconies in the room. there were no lockers in the rooms, and if you wanted one it was at a cost of 2 euro/day. The washing machines are actually not at the hostel, they are down the street and around the corner, so that's a bit annoying, but it's better than nothing.

Liked: Liked the breakfast and the common area. Also free wifi was nice.

Disliked: There were a fair amount of weird middle-aged men staying at the hostel alone. Not sure I'd recommended this for people traveling alone.

Liked: The breakfast was huge and the free pasta night is a great idea. Its very close to the main station and lots of connections to get to the centre, but the walk isnt too far either.

Disliked: the lockers arent in the rooms which is annoying.

Disliked: extremely booked up, so I was moved from a 4 pers (all females) room dorm to a 10 pers (mixed) upon check in. also, only 2 washrooms/showers on the floor to share amongst the whole floor of people. very long wait to use the toilet/shower No lockers in rooms to secure your belongings

Liked: Nice location with a view to the central station during breakfast.

Disliked: The room smelled like carpet and beds are not cleaned very often. No real bedcovers, only kind of a sheet to put between you and the blanket. Only two bathrooms for the floor, with shower and toilet in the same room.

Liked: The buffet breakfast was great and filling. But that's all we liked.

Disliked: No one cleaned the bathroom we shared with 10 people. The floor was caving in in a few spots so water And dirt and hair would puddle together. It was like that from day one. There was only one shower/bathroom for all 10 guests. The guests were mostly older men. The staff would rather play on the computer than help anyone in the hostel. We waited over 25 minutes for a member would finish his personal call before leaving to search for a grocery store without help. It's around the red light district so the streets are filled with drunks. I wish we would have found another hostel after 15 minutes of being there. Overall both the staff and the cleanliness were disgusting.

Liked: I like how close it is to the main Frankhurt rail station and the street has a lot of restaurants that you can eat late at night

Disliked: I dont like the fact that it's also a bar because if you want a quiet night, that's just impossible. Also, the people that come to the bar makes you feel unsafe.

Disliked: THERE IS ONLY 2 SHowER AND WC PER FLOOR! I had to wait 30 minutes to pee.. because somebody was in the shower.. And when I enter to take the shower.. the door hasn't a lock, so somebody opened it and looked at me all naked! Goshh!!!
