Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff who were nice to chat to and offered plenty of assistance. Close to main station and a good supermarket, as well as the tram stop a few stops away from the Messe festival hall.

Disliked: Located on the small 'red light district' street which had one or two unsavoury characters, no trouble though.

Liked: The hostel is in a red light district, lots of junkies and hookers, but it's ok if you don't stay out too late. Room was not so clean, dirty floor, curtains, had to ask for clean towels. The bed was broken and I also fund some "hair"on the sheets. Staff was ok. Also hostel is cheap, near the train station and center, walking distance.

Liked: its near main station, so you can go any place, but the street of the hostel is very bad (contain a lot of bad shops ! and drinkers), its not safe street.

Liked: the place is just a stone`s throw from Hauptbahnhof, BUT in the middle of the red light district... run down premises, we didn`t feel safe at all... avoid staying here unless you wanna watch the police running after bad guys all nite.

Liked: It was clean, secure (once inside the hotel), and the cheapest by far of the places to stay in Frankfurt if you want a single room which I did. The only problem is that Moselstr, the street it is located on is in the middle of the red-light district and just around the corner from the needle-exchange office so there were junkies and crack heads all over the place. I felt safe enough because there are police around too but it was a bit much.

Liked: The hostel is on a creepy street, but its ok if you don't stay out late by yourself. But the location is relatively close to the downtown, so its easy to walk around. The rooms and bathrooms are clean.

Liked: great prices, funky decor. washrooms could be a bit cleaner. area is sketchy though, i saw 2 junkies shooting up right outside the hostel.

Liked: The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If your not too fussed on where it's located then it's a good hostel at a good price. You can play the game 'spot the crackhead' outside, but your only 1 block away from normal life so it was fine ( and also quite funny ).
