Liked: Sometimes the hostel staff acts very confused and get irritated even for the smallest / silliest reasons. When I wanted to buy a toothpaste, one of the staff members said she couldn't sell it because she doesn't have change for a €20. Then I agreed to buy a €4 breakfast (which was lousy) and finally she gathered some change from one of her counterparts, but forgot to give me a plate for the breakfast. When I collected all my change and asked for a breakfast plate, she said I have to pay €4 and forgot all the previous mess !!!! And then she asked me for the guest pass, blah blah .. and finally got the plate. Other than the above reason, I would rate the hostel as pretty darn good !

Disliked: Lack of good breakfast / dinner choices.

Liked: Is the second time i stay here! Very close to the central station, and the buses (for frankfurt hahn), free WIFI and friendly staff!

Liked: The room was really good and the services provided by the hostel are excellent. Also it is cheap.

Disliked: The location is not the best since is located in the redlight zone. However it seemed to be safe.

Disliked: the staff are not the friendliest. they are not rude, but are definetely not friendly. also, you always have to wait in line to talk to them

Liked: Great place to stay and very convient location, 1min walk from the main station.lots of shops around and great atmosphere in the hotel/hostelwould definatly recommend to future traverllers

Liked: The location was excellent for both local and long distance transportation connections even if it is in the red light district. The security is good and once entering the establishment, it was a different world from the surrounding area. All the staff I encountered were very nice and helpful.

Disliked: Being an older male traveling alone may be the reason that i was constantly accosted by the 'working women' to and from the hostel. However Five Elements was worth the minor distraction.

Liked: free coffee and tea all the time~ I love their security, you have to show your card anywhen, it makes me feel safe!Don't worry about the location is near to the Red Light district, it's not dangerous at all...And the space is big...feel good!!

Disliked: the light in the room is a little bit dark.....but it's still fine~need to be used to it....

Disliked: Staff were not efficient! Everyone was lining up for the rooms, but only 1 staff doing this job! Extremely slow! Just keep people waiting and waiting. Wifi is BAD!!!!!! Just in the lobby not the rooms! People need to go downstairs for the Wifi. Sometimes it diconnects too!

Liked: Lamps and power outlets at each bed in the 3-bed dorm, clean new rooms and furniture, lockers under each bed.

Liked: Matches with I expected. Staff are frendly and breakfest was good. Geat location so you can get all interesting things to do just walking. I strongly recommend.

Liked: 5 Elements has a great chill out area, cheap alcohol and is easy to find and very close to everything. The only thing i could say bad is that there was no wifi in my room

Liked: I liked how close to the main train station it is. The "Red light district" warning is no big deal. They have daily activities and free movies to borrow. They made good suggestions for activities. Good place to stay if you are there more than a couple nights.

Disliked: One staff member was a bit dense and had selective hearing. The other was quite useful and nice-- she made good suggestions for activities. The atmosphere is very much of a young person's hostel in every sense of the word -- which is great for backpackers looking for some action, but for tired travellers looking for a cheap bed for the night, I would have preferred something more relaxed.

Liked: This was a great place to meet people. It was fun and had a lot to offer. There was some great people watching in the red light district!

Disliked: If you are not comfortable with the red light district, then do not stay here.
