Customer reviewThe showers were great, the room was great, the bar was cheap, and though the location was sketchy, I just wanted a bed. Tons of free planned activities. Definitely wished I could have stayed more time here! |

Customer reviewNothing bad to say about the hostel, it's pretty good. Not a good location though. The area between the business district and hauptbahnhof is the red light district, which they do tell you. It's a really sleazy one at that, lots of drunks and junkies in that part of town too. |

Angus DooletteI came into some trouble with a medical condition i have during my stay at 5 elements and the staff were brilliant. They handled the situation perfectly and upon my return from the hospital they had a bed ready for me even though i had not booked it. I highly recomend this hostel! |

Amberleah HolmbergWhile it's location is in the 'red light district', as advertised, it's quite safe and secure with clean rooms done up with trendy furniture. Close to the main train station, but a bit of a walk from attractions. The noise from the street was constant, but offered entertainment thanks to local 'characters'. Catered to younger people, and the staff seemed to be out of sorts at times, having to be reminded of what they offered (i.e. refunds on deposits at the end of your visit). |

Customer reviewI guess I was unlucky. The service was really slow at the reception for my check-in and check-out (but they were really helpful though). The room was really underlit - very dark lighting and the reading light at my bed was insufficient for reading. It's clean. The hostel was right in the middle of the red light district - but that location was very close to the central train station |

Jay TriplettLocation is both good and bad. You can basically see it from the main station so that is always nice. On the other hand its in the middle of the red light district and across from a methadone clinic. Nonetheless its very safe and the large glass windows in the lounge make for an interesting show as you watch the crackheads and hookers walk by at all hours of the day. Kidding aside though I would recommend this hostel and would stay at i again if forced to spend more time in Frankfurt (it wasnt that bad, just find the sauchsenhausen district). |

Andrew NgLocation was great since it was just a few steps from the main train station... not so great if you don't want to be harassed by the door people at red light district clubs. The big lounge/bar area was also an awesome place to meet people and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. |

Customer reviewStaff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet with lockers under the beds (not quite convinient, but ok). Excellent location, 5 min or even less from the main station. Fast food restaurants and ice cafes nearby. Hostel does not have any guest kitchen, but offers quite good breakfeast. Everything is new and modern. Can have a laptop with internet from the reception. Towels and bed linen are included. Nice bar area. Good for a short stay. |
