Liked: Lots of chance to meet people with bbqs and bar area, great atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities, lots of common room space with tv. 24 hour bar was amazing, location wasn't a problem, the red light district was not very and at all, was close to everything good to see and to train station no need for trams or buses etc. Amazing hostel!

Liked: Staffs were very kind. and rooms, toilets were very clean. It's very close to the station.

Disliked: a little hot. I hope there's a wind machine. and quite loud outside of the building.

Liked: The room was great, nice bathroom&shower, felt like staying in hotel! Breakfast was nice. Staff spoke good english and was really helpful. Hostel was really close to the railway station!

Disliked: The Five Elements sign at the door was hard to spot, because it was already dark when we arrived. Location (red light district) was maybe just a little disturbing, but didn't bother us much really - we felt safe all the time.

Liked: Room was big. TV and free wifi inside room; also you can rent a free laptop. Location very near train station and to a grocery called Rewe. In spite of being in the red light zone, we hadn't no problems...

Disliked: Had to wait at least 30 minutes to do the check-in.

Liked: The hostel was very efficient and well run. Everything was very clean and there were a good number of bathrooms. The dorm rooms were well organised with good sized lockers. It was very handy to the rail station.

Liked: You can borrow IBM thinkpad for FREE!!! and you still can connect wifi even stay in your dorm!!! btw, if you book 3 nights there, you can get FREE breakfast!!!

Liked: Everything was great. Its at the perfect location near the central station. It is clean, lines are for free. Towels are extra. Definitely a place to recommend!

Liked: lockers in the rooms, barbecue on firdays ans saturdays, book exchange

Disliked: very dark dining room, no microwave in the kitchen, card key didn`t work too well

Liked: Free laptop rentals, good breakfast, nice rooms and clean bathrooms.

Disliked: Didnt' dislike, they even tell you clearly on their first page, but the hostel is located in the red light district, so you might see some stuff. I honestly loved it.

Liked: close by staion, secure in a crap aerea

Disliked: not enough staff on for the amount of traffic thru counter, a bit like a prisoner with security so strict, you couldnt go to your room without being let thu doors

Liked: They really do everything to bring as much of fun in your stay as they can

Disliked: Too much of deposits, you are to leave deposit for everything e.g. your linen, keys, lockers etc.

Liked: The hostel itself is the best one I've been to, activities, cool hang out areas, bar and bbq

Disliked: the area is so close to the central station but also in a sketch area. if your an attractive girl walking around, you'll most likely get harrased. but id stay there again

Liked: incredibly nice staffs !!! i spent four nights here and im so glad that the youth hostel in frankfurt i called before 5 elements hostel was full. great shower ever, free coffee and tea for all day, and again nicest staffs ever!!!!!

Liked: Massive lockers under the bed eaisly fit everything. It is a short walk to the city and the train station

Liked: -close to the main station -free tea and coffee

Disliked: If you travell alone especilly girl,I strongly recommand that please don't stay here. As it's in red light area,there are many men look at you with umcomfortable eyes...very scared.......
