Liked: The location was good & the breakfast was good value (even though it's included). There was free internet & a TV with DVD's on offer.

Disliked: There wasn't a great atmosphere to the place (may have been because it wasn't in season). My mattress needed replacing & the owner (I believe it was the owner) wasn't the friendliest of people. I asked about the Shuttle to Weeze Airport & they didn't know anything about it?? The shower went from cold to hot & back soo that needs looking at.

Liked: I stayed here for 15 nights (!) during Eurovision 2011, obviously the hostel was one big Eurovision party place! I think overall everything was great with the hostel, very good value for money and fantastic free breakfast. Beds were very comfortable and location was pretty good, around a 20 minute walk to the Hbf as well as the Altstadt, or the tram was right there. Recommend!

Disliked: There were a few mix ups regarding whether I paid or not, and how much, but it was sorted. Probably should keep their receipts a bit more organised, but it's always a good idea to save one's own receipt as proof!

Liked: The place had nice personality, all the wallpaintings etc were super!

Disliked: Not sure if this is exactly about the property, but the water in the showers was somehow really weird (or maybe it's like that everywhere in Germany). All three of us felt that our hair just seemed to get dirtier by washing it.

Liked: The rooms were large compared to the number of beds, the beds were comfortable, the showers were good, and there was lots of space to hang-out.

Disliked: There was nothing I did not like about the hostel; however Dusseldorf is not the most exciting city.

Liked: The WIFI was good and the location was well within walking distance of the station and old town.

Disliked: The showers could have been cleaner and maybe a little more secure. But really just nit picking it was pretty good.

Liked: It is very clean, comfy and the beds are quite good for a hostel. The kitchen is very useful, big bathrooms (apart from the toilets!) and very good place to meet other people. Location is also very good! And lockers are free n on the room, so u can feel safe with ur stuff.

Disliked: Was pretty good... just that it is a little bit expansive, but they give you towels, lockers n everything for free, so it worths what u've paid.

Liked: Friendly staff; 15-20mins from both the main station & centre of town; clean rooms & bathrooms.

Disliked: The street can be busy at times, but not too bad; on the ground floor there's 2 toilets & 2 bathrooms, but only one sink with hot water

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, the dining area was good too. The rooms were neat and spacious. Bath and toilets were clean. Internet was free. They even allowed me to print out my boarding pass for free, that was kind of them. Its in a good location as well, well connected by tram and bus service to the city centre.

Disliked: Its just a suggestion, it would be nice if you are able to serve some soup for dinner.

Liked: Price just about adequate. Spotlessly clean. Lovely big and very comfortable beds. Showers ok and hot water plentiful. Security excellent. Breakfast a bit meagre. Only downside is it's a long ish walk to both the station and Old Town but as hostels go you couldn't ask for more really, an example of German efficiency.

Disliked: Distance to station and old town, a good 20min walk with luggage to each.
