Liked: The bar and organized movie nights, very good location in the heart of the pub area.

Disliked: Not very close to the tram stop that goes to the old part of the city.

Liked: It's big, clean and there's everything you need, also a real free wifi. It's very close to the nightlife and that's a great thing.

Disliked: You have to rent their sheets even if you have your own.

Liked: It was very individual, lots of character. Really nice homely rooms, good toilets and shower facilities. A really nice bar downstairs with a discount for hostel guests. Location is amazing in the party district of Dresden! Had so much fun here :D

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Very clean and safe. Spacious rooms with excellent amenities. Great bar downstairs. Excellent value for money.

Disliked: Not positioned in old town but tram close by. Would benefit from an elevator.

Liked: It was on one of the busiest and coolest street of the town, full of bars, cafés etc. moreover, the staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. there was no noise disturbance from other rooms and the bar downstairs was very cool as well. the kitchen was very spacious and there was free wifi. showers and toilets always clean and not shared with men. the room had enough space as well.

Disliked: basically nothing.

Liked: Our first impression of the hostel was great -- the neighborhood is really fun, and the hostel seemed clean/pleasant. There is a bar/lounge on the ground floor, and that is actually where we ended up spending our nights; it was always filled with young, lively people, and the drinks were great. I would definitely recommend this property to any young person planning a trip to Dresden.

Disliked: Our sleeping arrangements were an absolute nightmare. I traveled with three other women (ages 21-24), and we were placed in a six-bed dorm with two men, aged approximately 40-55. One of the men was constantly talking to himself, and snored louder than anyone I've ever heard. The other man, who I had the pleasure of sharing a bunk bed with, smelled like he hadn't taken a shower in weeks and made disgusting moaning noises every time he exhaled. If you are going to this hostel as a group of women, either pay a little extra to book a separate room, or ask to be placed in a room of females. I wouldn't wish that sleeping hell on anyone.

Liked: In the heart of the Neustadt and only a short walk from the Altstadt, with plenty to see along the way. A small but very capable kitchen and eating space and great value for money.

Disliked: A little far from Neustadebahnhof when hauling bags, but not ridiculously so

Liked: really friendly staff. A fun atmosphere but still quiet at night. Free internet. 20min slow walk into the historic centre.

Disliked: young clientele and thus some overnight drunkeness and vomiting.

Liked: This place had large dorms, large kitchen and large bathrooms. There was also a reasonably priced bar downstairs and a cheap supermarket around the corner. It's an easy 15-20min walk into the old town. It's a very quiet, chilled out hostel.

Liked: No complaints at all! It is on the best street in the Neustadt and the food is cheap and great nearby. Good facilities and beds, safe (as a woman traveling alone), friendly, nice kitchen and common area to meet people as well as a bar downstairs, easy to walk all over Dresden. WOuld come back here and only here.

Liked: good location in the new town. very clean, kitchen is great (but watch the smoke alarm if your cooking), has bikes for hire, good internet access, not too busy, quiet despite being above a pub with cheap drinks

Liked: Comfortable proportions, without too many people crammed into the large rooms. Great bar downstairs in the centre of the Neustadt with lots of restaurants, bars and cafes a short walk away. Very friendly staff. There is nothing not to like about this hostel.

Liked: Nice 'feel' to it - interesting rooms, nice place in general.In a quirky and interesting neighbourhood - within walking distance to the centre of town. But a little too far off the public transport from the railway stn if your pack's too heavy!!
