The bar is fantastic and cheap for people staying there, the rooms are large enough to not get stuffy, and the location is brilliant for the cheap bars and clubs, and also not far from the old town.

the location is not that good, but in case you can't find any better location then this is fine.
but they don't have the free internet, but kitchen is quite good though. and it's very clean actually

The staff is very helpful, it's close to the city attractions. The breakfast has limited options but it's very good. It has internet access which is key and they are very accomodating. I liked that each room has a name and the whole environment is just cosy and fantastic

Mondpalast was one of the nicest hostels I've been to and I've been to many... It's very cosy, the rooms are bright and clean and nicely decorated but the best thing are the bathrooms, cause there is enough place to put all your things and there are changing rooms in front of every shower so you can take your time and have privacy;)

The lobby because it is a bar. Also we had a kitchen on each floor, that is really important when you want to travel cheap as a backpacker. But most important of all. The neighborhood where the hostel is located FUCKING RULES!!!!!!!!!! It was awsome, great people. You can really experience the life of Dresden in the place where Mondpalast is located. Kick ass!!!

Wonderful Hostel. Only one word can describe it - GROOVY. It is decorated splendidly in a cool space, mythical theme type thing which runs into the bar downstairs in a great part of Dresden with plenty of bars and eating places! Not far from the city either. The breakfast was spectacular and well worth the extra €3! Would reccommend this hostel to anyone looking to come to Saxony!

Nice bar on the bottom floor which was a great way to meet people. Also, a really funky astrological theme that made for an interesting stay.
