Liked: The big kitchen and lounge space.

Disliked: The charging on hostelbookers was more than on arrival. That you had To buy sheets from them. Everyone kept to themselves so not that great to meet people.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff (who gave a great orientation to the city of Dresden), clean facilities, excellent kitchen and warm, comfortable common area. Very comfortable and good atmosphere, convenient location.

Disliked: This is certainly one of the best hostels I have stayed in these past few months. I have no complaints - was a pleasure to spend a couple days here.

Liked: Very easy to find (Dresden Neustadt station), clean, inexpensive, friendly staff and for 5 euros, the breakfast is a good deal.

Disliked: It is a good 15 minute walk from the old part (the old city) of Dresden and this will be tiring, if you have to go back and forth many times.

Liked: The hostel is pretty good. The common room's cool and kitchen's pretty well stocked. Location is about 20 minute walk to the old city center. Reception hours are a bit short so make sure your flight/train isn't before 8:00 or after 22:00.

Disliked: The hostel's down a really dark street and the directions from the train station could be more clear.. I had horrible roommates but otherwise the stay was satisfactory. Breakfast's probably not worth the 5 euros. It's pretty cheap to grab something at the bakeries on Koningstrasse.

Liked: Really lovely staff who helped me out with everything I needed (sightseeing advice, organizing bus tickets and even found me a map for my next destination!) Nice big kitchen, cool chillout area and warm comfy beds plus the whole place was really clean...

Disliked: If I had to pick something, it might be the lack of free wi-fi although it was pretty cheap (50 cents for an hour) and there are plenty of cafes nearby with wi-fi if I really wanted to be glued to my computer...

Liked: Staff were very freindly and informative. Nice large rooms with large lockers.

Disliked: Had to pay for wi-fi, towels and bed linen! Showers turned off every 15 seconds.

Liked: the staff were amazing, so helpful and showed us all the great things to see including some places off the beaten track. great kitchen and lounge, rooms were clean and comfy. close to bus and train station.

Liked: Very close to Neustadt train station, has a lovely living room with tv, games, furnitures and hammocks :) comfortable beds, free internet and printouts at reception.I would recommend it.

Disliked: I couldnt find the time of check-in on internet, it is 13.00 and you have to check-out at 11.00. And there was a very noice sex in the next room of C :)

Liked: very clean, modern, good location very helpful staff. i like it a lot!

Disliked: wifi didnt work in the rooms only in the lounge. not a dislike but its not a very bustling hostel, but the streets surrounding the hostel have amazing bars, just it seems that a night out doesnt start at the hostel which is a shame.

Liked: Kitchen and communal area. Garden. Cool decoration. Staff really nice and flexible with check out time.Sink in room. Great location-really near Neustadt station and easy walking distance to main city centre. Staff tell you where nearest supermarket etc is and give you a free map.

Disliked: Not much really.

Liked: Great atmosphere! It is really well located and is clean and friendly. The best thing about the hostel is that it is really easy to meet other people, either in the pretty back yard or in the common room. Also the staff were really friendly! This is the best hostel I've been to in Europe! Something about how the common areas are furnished just makes it really easy even for shy people to talk to fellow travellers. Fun to hear about what real Australians think of the place ;)

Disliked: As many have mentioned before me; the showers. But I've seen worse. And these were really clean!

Disliked: shower were not really private... when you go just make sure the door is closed.... and dont forget your towel...
