Liked: The rooms are quite basic but comfortable, in good shape, large and well-equiped. It is a large department building adapted as a hostel, which gives it a somewhat cold, impersonal atmosphere, but if you do not plan to stay in the room for the whole day, who cares?

Liked: Close to public transport and supermarkets.Free welcome drink .What I disliked was that doors were continually being banged at the end of thee corridor and that people were rather inconsiderate when leaving the hotel-hostel early in the morning but that is a reflection of the individuals that stay there and not the accomodation

Liked: the staff's english is bad and inexperienced. He wrongly booked me a German speaking tour in the VW factory tour. Very disappointed in my stay in dresden.

Liked: Having a shower & toilet in the room is a bad idea - whenever someone comes back to the hostel in the middle of the night & wants to take a shower, they'll wake everyone up.

Liked: Clean with good bathrooms. Good atmosphere. Next to Aldi supermarket. Location was as stated on the website (400m from the main train station) However, it is 400m in the direction away from the town centre. Drinks in the reception are quite expensive! But apart from that we enjoyed our time there.

Liked: Really great- would definitely stay there again. the one complaint- a group of us were out late and talking (not extremely loudly) beneath our room. The hotel staff came to hush us twice, finally asking us to move across the street- and again, we were talking at a conversational level, not screaming. But no mention was made when we were awoken at seven am by very loud breakfasters beneath our window! Screaming running kids and very loud people- rather a double standard for the shushing!

Liked: Hostel was very clean and quite new. Unforunately, it does have a particularly corporate feel so isn't the best hostel for meeting other travelers. The lack of kitchen facilities was also rather frustrating. Not too far from the city and very easy to access from the train station.

Liked: Really close to the train station which is what we were looking for (directions would have sent us in the wrong direction - hostel is on street parallel to rail track, don't turn under the bridge). Everything was clean and there was a good amount of cupboard space. The free drink when we arrived was a nice touch.
