Liked: It was extremely clean and the rooms were modern and airy. The sky bar had a nice view, and the free Wii was great. Breakfast was also good if you can make yourself pay the extra 4 Euros. It was close to the train station and within walking distance of downtown (long walk).

Disliked: It was more like a hotel than a hostel: not very social, with only the lobby as a common area throughout the day, and not a place where people really hung out and met each other. There was no kitchen, no book exchange, no social interaction with the staff, none of these things that make a hostel feel homey. But if that's not important, it's a great place.

Liked: The hostel was really clean and our room was very spacious with an en suite aswell.

Disliked: The location is a little out of the way from the old and new town and we found that we had to walk a lot to get back in the evenings. We were placed on the first place which wasn't ideal because our room window opened to the patio area where people were hanging out and talking into the late hours. Also, we just had bad personal experiences with middle-aged men who snored like crazy in our room all night. We had a different guy each night! That was brutal... so as a result we're changing to private rooms!

Liked: It's a fine place, very clean and the staff is very kind if you need help.

Disliked: Even if the staff is kind it's not very outgoing and the location is not very good. It's about 15 minutes from the main station and about 45 minuts to the centre.

Liked: A lot of facilities available for reasonable price.

Disliked: It is quite far from the city center. But close to public transport. So actually there is nothing that I really disliked.

Liked: Price, position. Close to everything.

Disliked: All is not included. Breakfast, internet, linen, towel. Good position, but the street from the train station has no lights and it-s in the middle of nothing.

Liked: The price is reasonable. The room is really nice, very clean and neat. The location also good, it's near to the central station. The facilities are complete, you can get internet access, there are also an cash withdrawing machine.

Liked: It was very clean. In the 4-bed-dorm there were two seperated rooms for shower and toilete. And it was the cheapest hostel I could find in Dresden. From the roof/skybar of the hostel you can see the main station which is illuminated during night.

Disliked: Linen and Wifi is not included in the price. But you can use your sleeping bag. There was no common area and common kitchen. So you have to eat breakfast ether in your room or in the room where guests eat there paid breakfast. Moreover the location is not the best. It is close to the main station but not that close to old and new town.

Liked: The hostel is cca. 15 min walk from the Old Town.It was perfectly clear, and there's a nice bar at the terrace with a beautiful view of the city and quite reasonable prices.

Disliked: There were only two wardrobes, a shelf, two chairs and a table in a dorm for 4 people. No lockers or at least some private place to put your things out of way. A big minus is the charge for the bed sheets (3 Euro) and the internet. All in all it's okay for a night or two, but I wouldn't recommend it for longer stay.

Liked: As with the other A&O hostel that i have stayed with, they are well organized and run hostel. The ensuite room is nice and clean. The information provided by the reception staff is good but i thought she could be friendlier. The guy at skybar was good.
