Liked: Pretty good location in Cologne.

Disliked: Very, very poor air circulation. Rooms were always 10 degrees warmer than outside temp. Definitely uncomfortable during the summer months.

Liked: Friendly staff, nice accommodations, TV in the room

Disliked: It was very hot the night that we stayed there and there were no fans or air-conditioning in the room.

Liked: I liked the proximity to local transport. Room was clean and bathroom was very nice. Only problem was that we booked late checkout for 1pm as we were exhausted having driven from England that day, however we were woken twice before 11am and asked if we had booked late checkout.

Liked: Situated on a quiet street outside the city central, but the facilities were clean and the staff was very nice. The breakfast wasn't included in the price but it was really worth the extra fee. The variety and quality of the breakfast was brilliant! A good hostel for having a beer at its own little bar, sleeping nights and storing bags while seeing the city.

Liked: the location may not be the best but it's acceptable as cologne is not that big which almost every places and main attractions are reachable on foot. Bathroon is clean with good hot water supply but it could be annoying to wait for it as there's only 1 in the room and it's shared among 8 people. Staff has been very friendly and helpful!

Liked: excellent place to stay. easy to get to, with easy connections to tram and metro, straightforward instructions given on how to get there. it's not far out of the city centre or the Dom. the staff are so friendly and helpful, always smiling. there are supermarkets closeby and at the hostel there is a kitchen for self-catering. the dorms have an ensuite, which is close to hotel standard, very impressed. some dorms have tv. there is free wifi on the ground floor. the only thing is that breakfast is not included, and at 4.5 euros is quite expensive, but you can get your own breakfast at the supermarket. if breakfast is at that price i'm glad it was an option to leave out of the price of accomodation. all in all, i'd definitely stay here again íf i ever go back to cologne.

Liked: It was a good stay there. The 8-bed-dorm was actually 2x4 (all bunk beds). The plus is that everyone has a locker (you can close with your padlock), BUT the lagguage room is just some shelfs (no lockers to close). The good is that you can get in only with a special keycard. Location not so bad, but quite a long walk from the main church if you don't take the tram.

Liked: The free wi-fi. After a long day of walking through the city, it's nice to know that you can come back to the hostel and relax in front of your computer without having to worry about how long you're online- and nice little detail on behalf of the hostel;) Thanx a lot!

Liked: very clean, friendly staff who are very helpful, breakfast is EXCELLENT value!...and good quality pillows (something you don't often find with hostels, in my experience!;-)

Liked: Great location in the centre. Everything was newly renovated and the gorgeous bar was great fun! The staff was so nice and they had a lot of helpful recommendations for me: restaurants, bars and attractions in the neighbourhood.

Liked: It is clean and smells clean too - not always granted in the hostel scene. Price is a bit upmarket too, but for cologne not over expensive. Breakfast is very good, but with 4.50 not a steal. They have guest kitchen, free pasta, laundry room with chillout platform. The downside is definitely early breakfast, early checkout, late checkin. The area around Rudolfplatz is nice, Ubahn is a bit far to walk on cold and rainy days. Recommend to climb up on the Dom: Great view of the city !
