Liked: The location was awesome! That is all the hostel has going for it though which is unfortunate.

Disliked: The staff didn#t seem to care about anything. There was no toilet paper in the washrooms and they were quite dirty.

Liked: It is very very near to the city center (Dom).

Disliked: Way to expencive for what is offered. (25 Euros/night in a 6 bed dorm). Standard is not german hostel standard...

Liked: good access to center and fair grounds

Disliked: the room occupied some smokers before; showers in terrible condition! toilets as well

Liked: Excellent location, good relation cost & benefits, they are ready to help you about any consult or doubt you may have.

Disliked: Nothing at all. The place was always clean and I used it just for sleeping and a bath. May be prices of additional services (like food, drinkd, etc) would be more competitive (not so expensive in comparision with the street prices, but it's just a detail)

Liked: the woman at the reception was very nice and helpful with everything. it was close to the tram station and only a 10-15min walk to the main train station.

Disliked: the shower room was weird.

Disliked: The reception is in a separate building than the rooms and there is no clear way to find staff when it is closed.

Liked: There is very little to like about this property other than its proximity to the centre of the city.

Disliked: This hostel is a horrible place to spend the night. The rooms are disgusting, unkept and unclean and the bed linen was filthy. There are not enough toilet faciltites and the three available showers did not drain so we were expected to stand in filthy water ~The hostel staff were uninterested in providing any help. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER OPTIONS.

Liked: It's riverside location and proximity to the old town thrust you right into the interesting bit of Cologne. It's also positioned above a Werder Bremen theme bar, which was a terrific old drinking haunt for football fans.

Disliked: The room we had was a bit of pokey, airless loft, and I'm not entirely sure it was the one we were first offered. The room door also looked so flimsy that a sturdy push would have had it through, and while we were there the front door of the whole property seized up, and so the nearest we had was a labyrinthine meander through a flat attached to the property. I had to leave early that morning, so would have had to knock on that flat's door to get let out, had the door not miraculously freed itself just as I was leaving. Fairplay to the bloke in charge though, as he couldn't have been more helpful on this matter. It was a bit of a tip, all in - but rather a delightful one...

Liked: Good location and tv in the room.

Disliked: Staff was not professional, inner communication din´t work at all between them. There was no light in our room and we were promised that it will be fixed next day, but it wasn´t and when we asked about it, the person at the reception didn´t even know, or care about the problem. When we checked out and left our luggage at the reception we were told that when we come to pick it up we can call if there´s no-one there and they will come open the door, but when we called, the person on the phone was very surprised and thought we allready picked it. There was no-one to open the door so we had to wait for one and a half hour! And when we finally got in, they didn´t even bother to apologise!

Liked: It's so good of view at room.Near the river and see the sun at morning.

Disliked: Office open 8:00~22:00 and did't use kitchen after office hour.

Liked: Placement only

Disliked: Well, price is as for 3-star hotel, while accomodation the worst from visited earlier (even from accomodation cheaper 3 times) Additionally: our room wasn't cleaned on arrival. It wasn't also cleaned till 8 PM. We have received our linens after several times speaking with staff and after 1 hour of waiting. At the morning we were informed that we have received the wrong room and we were asked to change the room. And of course the new room wasn't cleaned. And again we have the problems receiving linens in this room as well... So, if there is a chance to book another place I would suggest to everybody to do that

Liked: Location was rather good.

Disliked: It was quite expensive considering the facilities. For example there was no kitchen. In addition it wasn't the cleanest hostel I've been to.
