Disliked: Not the very best location (but very close to a tram stop and still in walking distance to the centre).

Liked: Best hostel breakfast I ever had. Very clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Terrible location, nowhere near the city center or anything interesting. A little large and bland

Liked: Lovely beds Very good breakfast Great location near river Rhein. Easy to go to the center with metro, which is also going at night!!

Disliked: It looks like a big office building on the outside and at the staircase. But it does not matter! This makes the hostel spacious.

Liked: Very good hostel, clean, excellent bedsheets, very nice breakfast, and located next to the river and near the U-bahn.

Disliked: the access is through an unlit parking lot, outside the property.

Liked: location, just 7 minutes to the center (the same line) and just 3 stops to get to Anuga. Very clean hostel, everything is new.

Disliked: there is no Internet in the rooms

Liked: Very clean (but almost clinical). 24hour reception useful for if you go out.

Disliked: No character and the staff were quite rude to us or ignored us for no reason.

Liked: It was a real nice place to stay for the 5 nights we spent in Köln - the rooms were great and the staff and other guests were very friendly.

Disliked: It would of been nice to have a big sign or something on the road/cycle path to point people clearly to the hostel as it is a little off the road - we got lost! :) Although you can't complain at a free breakfast the drinks could do with looking at... the orange juice is essentially water with orange colouring and the chocolate milk isn't the greatest - other than that, no complaints and very satisfied!

Liked: large spacious spotless and top designed rooms, generous breakfasts, great view of the river and rabbits playing on the lawn, comfortable and friendly public spaces. could do with some sandwiches or toasts added to the coffee bar though that was only drawback. We loved our stay at this hostel.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable place to stay. The bathroom and the shower are separated and very clean as well. it's rather quite area and you may not buy things /eat. But considering the good location (8 min from the Central Station), it was no problem for me.

Disliked: they do not offer free FiWi. Instead you can have internet access with 1.5 euro for 1 hour.

Liked: Rooms were clean and large. Staff was very helpful and fun to meet (look for Abdul in the Army hat). Great place for a backpacker to stay and rest up. Located right next to a train stop for easy access to Cologne.

Disliked: Not a true backpacker's hostel. Lots of Jr. High aged kids and middle aged people during the day. Very few young travelers. Doors lock at midnight, it took 40 minutes for someone to come let us in (12:15-12:55).

Liked: Close to trams, great front desk crew

Disliked: It is a building site! Pathetic breakfast hours. Breakfast finishes at an uncharitable 9am and don't even try getting a glass of juice 1 minute after that. Emphasis is YOUTH and there are huge parties of school students running around, alamming doors late into the night.

Liked: The 4 bed dorm room was extremely spacious & clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions and general information about Cologne. Overall a great place to stay!

Disliked: There was some construction work going on around the hostel so the lifts & stairwells were quite dirty and messy however this wasn't reflected in the rooms. The bunk beds were quite small & narrow which wasn't ideal for a tall person - however it was fine for a night's sleep.
