Liked: Bathroom was dirty and smelly, no heating or lockers in the dorm. Corridor and room needed cleaning and refreshing... Free internet and nice staff though, I liked the late check out policy. Good location too.

Liked: very near the station, literally less than 5 mins. very spacious rooms, no bunk beds, all single beds with individual lights. laundry 4eur to wash and dry, free wifi, secured (cameras in hallways), secured lockers are free to use.

Liked: One night was enough. Reception was o.k but then...extremely long way to the rooms (5 stories through cold and winding staircases), bathrooms and showers without any comfort, no soap or shampoo, only one hairdryer for hundreds of people, everything costs, no free goodies. Annoying signs DON'T DO THIS, DON'T DO THAT...makes you feel more like a number than a guest. Beds are o.k but rooms neither have comfort nor atmosphere. No power outlets, no mirrors...Luggage lockers OUTSIDE of the rooms with partially broken parts and most of them violated- feels insecure. Windows can not be adjusted for proper ventilation, either closed or wide open. Bahnhof traffic is audible, but with earplugs it's o.k. And here comes the good part: Relatively late checkout (12.10), very generous left luggage policy, central location, wireless FREE internet that really works (not for granted in Koeln hostels!)

Liked: Perfect location - right next to the main station, walked to everywhere! Free wi-fi, luggage-room. Late check-in was a little annoying but the staff were friendly and I was allowed to store my luggage before check-in. Spotted a mouse in the kitchen which was a little gross... but for travellers on a budget, there's everything you need - good location, hot showers, and a reasonably comfy bed. I'd recommend it!

Liked: Great hostel. Perfect location, couldn't be better. Nice bar, sitting areas, kitchen. Very easy to meet people. Pretty much a great hostel choice for practically anyone.

Liked: I would recommend this hostel to everybody. It has a great location, very close to the main train station and very easy to find. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and space. The secure is on a good level. As for my it has all necessary things to enjoy your staying in Cologne.

Liked: This place is very close to the station. In fact, it's so close to the station that, as the annoucements call in through the window, you feel like you're actually sleeping at the platform. Aside from this it appears the place hasn't been upgraded since the 80s. Lights don't work in the bathrooms, everything appears shabby and the staff give off rather unfriendly vibes. A staff member woke my entire dorm room up at around 1am because they thought someone was sleeping there who shouldn't have been. This proved not to be the case. In summary, there must be better places in Cologne than this.

Liked: If you want to be close to the main station this is one of the best places to stay at. But it's not the cleanest of places. Lots of bed bugs, carpets smelly and building has a murky smell. The staff is really great.
