Liked: lovely and cozy rooms with plants and each bed with a side lamp :-), friendly staff, I wanted to be moved to another dorm which wasn't a problem

Disliked: smelly drain in one of the toilets, shower handle needs to be pressed every 10 seconds in order to get water

Liked: The kitchen and lounge area were great advantages of this hostel. It meant we could save some money by cooking our own meals. Room was clean and comfortable. You only pay for what you eat at breakfast which was good too. Also, breakfast was from 6-12 meaning we could get breakfast even though we had to leave early. Staff speak English and are very friendly. Free internet was a bonus. Great location, really close to train station.

Disliked: It would also have been a good place to meet other travellers but everyone kept themselves to themselves really. A sink in the room would have been nice. Room was very hot and we had to keep the window open the whole day and at night. Smoking is permitted in the lounge area.

Liked: Close to the station. Good kitchen/lounge facilities.

Disliked: A lot of noise from the street & some of the other guests throwing stuff from bedroom windows during the night.

Liked: Good facilities and they were clean. Only negative was the heat, we were there in a heatwave, but air con would have been good.

Liked: Location is great...staff was friendly and rooms clean. Lockers available if you have a lock, or you can rent one for a deposit.

Disliked: Bathrooms were limited and a little grimy.

Liked: Besides the location this is not a great hostel to stay in. The noise of the trains is unreal and the shower and bathroom situation is bad. I didn't feel safe here as a single female traveler.

Liked: Well thought the system for paying for your own breakfast is quite nice, I think the price charged should include the breakfast! Free breakfast is important for attracting backpackers.

Liked: The location is prefect for those traveling by train!! It's a short walk from the central station, and right in the city center near tons of attractions like the Dom and tons of museums, bars, stores, etc. They also offer computers with internet for free and have a 24hr bar with cheap beer.

Liked: Extremely convenient location, just a couple of minutes from the train station. Very friendly staff, but, very smoky lounge and very noisy doors. You could hear all night people opening and closing doors.

Liked: It was cheap and well located. However, it was very cheap. The front desk attendant was drinking while we were checking in. I get the fact that I'm staying at a cheap hostel, but, seriously, who does that and expects to have a professional reputation? Also, the second night the fire alarm went off and we were told to go back to bed, that it was simply from a room on the fourth floor. No fire department call. Simply turned the alarm off. Double thumbs down.
