Liked: Very good situation near train station and realy goot atmosphere in this hostel. I staid there for an extra night.

Liked: Great value, great staff, good location, nice rooms, kitchen, internet

Disliked: Showers are tedious (push for 10 seconds of water...push again...push again...) Breakfast is extra. But good and reasonably priced.

Liked: No bunks - seperate beds were good, power point and shelf for each bed. Fantastic location, very close to train station.

Disliked: Breakfast not included, showers turn off after about 30 seconds.

Liked: Great location, within walking distance from almost everywhere i wanted to go. Really great value for money, and super friendly staff.

Disliked: No tv in the room, but thats to be expected.

Liked: Great place! Had an injury and the person on the desk was very helpful in finding us a place to go. Large mixed sex dorms but lots of lockers and lots of room - single beds and even a table and chairs in one corner. Good breakfast and free internet! Relaxing area small but comfy sofas :) even stuff for sale and some useful leaflets. Absolutely immaculate - the smell of disinfectant was tangible!

Disliked: The only quip I'd have is that there were few toilet facilities for the number of people - only one shower and one toilet that I could find for a whole floor? Even the crummiest uni halls would have at least 2. This also meant that if you wanted privacy when getting changed you risked waiting for ages.

Liked: I liked the service and the friendliness of the staff. We were helped immediately and correctly. The beds were clean and neat.

Disliked: The bathrooms smelled a little and walking through the hallway was pretty noisy, so we had to be very, very careful not to wake any other people.

Liked: Nice, clean rooms. No alcohol allowed in the rooms (this was a problem in other hostels). Wifi and computers available. 24 hour reception with a helpful staff who speak German and English fluently. They allowed me to change beds when I asked (I wanted to be closer to an outlet), and fixed my keycard when it stopped working. The location is excellent; the hostel is right next to the Dom and the Hauptbahnhof, making it really easy to find your way back, and to walk around the city.

Disliked: Breakfast items were a bit overpriced, but that's not really an issue, as you can find cheap food in town from bakeries, etc.

Disliked: The shower was very annoying; the water would turn off one second after you stopped pushing the button.

Liked: Location.

Disliked: Dirty, uncomfortable bed, slats missing, skimpy pillow, basically run down and in need of a serious face lift. Advertise laundry facility, but only one washer, one dryer, in continuous use by staff for over 12 hours.

Disliked: IT'S ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. There are not lockers or cages in the room.

Liked: Very good location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice not to have bunk beds!

Disliked: The bathrooms and toilets stank- the ones on my floor certainly were horrible. They weren't particularly dirty, just stank of sewage, it was really unpleasant having to use the. They were rennovating some of the bathrooms but even the new ones were a bit smelly. There was quite a lot of dust around on the floors and on surfaces in the room.

Liked: Location is a strength of this hostel. Also their staffs are helpful. It is worth to stay for a short trip in Cologne.

Disliked: Cleanliness is needed to be improved.

Liked: Excellent location, large enough rooms, lots of common space. We got in late at night and left early in the morning, so not much to say.

Disliked: It seemed a little seedy, but everyone was friendly. Pretty much the entire hostel smelled like smoke.

Liked: I loved the location, right in the city, close to the train station and taxi station! Would always go back again!
