Liked: We never got the key to our room, it was always just unlocked. Other then that great place. Staff really helpful and met a lot of fun people. Not too far of a walk from the trainstation ~ 20 minutes. We found it a little hard to find, around the corner from McDonalds.

Liked: The kitchen there is so cosy! I'd like the same at home! It's a perfect place to make friends as well as to have that wonderful breakfast the hostel proposes!

Liked: Good place, nice atmosphere, breakfast is ok (we always finished our breakfast in the Mc`Donalds at the left side of the hostel). In front of one subway station.

Liked: My rating changed during my stay. First impression wasn't great because floor smelled and building is office style with low ceilings and "cold" dimensions. But then the rooms are themed and really nicely done - they have an artsy edge and do REALLY NICE PAINTINGS and decorations. I was in the Africa room and it felt like home after a while. Art makes a difference ! Lockers are in the rooms which is a security plus. The killer thing is the FREE FOOD they offer and You can virtually survive ALL INCLUSIVE with the breakfast and the pasta and the leftover food box - safes You a lot of money ! You basically feel like You are not in a hostel but invited to a private place. Downside: NO wifi but 1 shabby 90s style computer and the most scary thing (although it wasn't actually a problem for me): There is never anybody at the entrance desk, there is no card or key system for the doors, only a keypad at the entrance. ANYBODY who knows the combination could WALK IN FROM THE STREET at anytime of the day or night and access your room or surprise You in Your sleep - just a scary thought in a place as crowded as Köln...Anyways, had a good time !

Liked: Not much, Easy to get too. Plumbing absolutley sucked toilets blocked up in the morning and showers were full of water. Room had plenty of space as well.

Liked: Easy to find, close to shops. The girl that checked us in took time to give us heaps of information on where to go and what to see. Adorable sheep themed decorations and all the rooms have their own theme too. Free breakfast is the usual toast and cereal. Free internet is good too.

Liked: This is a great hostel! It has a great atmosphere, and combined kitchen/lounge provides a great place to meet people. It doesn't have tons of nonsensical rules like other places, breakfast and checkout times end at 11:30 and not at some ungodly hour, there's a washing machine for only two euros... the only thing is you might need earplugs or lots of beer to get to sleep as its next to a busy street, but earplugs can be purchased in the hostel and beer is close by!

Liked: Great common room, great staff and easy to get to. Free internet, free pasta was great too. The bad parts: loud noise sometimes from outside if you are facing the late night mcdonalds, no locks on the individual room doors and not being able to use a credit card
