Liked: Near the mai trains station, the city center is not far away. The hostek has kitchen and good Wi-Fi at the louge. Rooms are of good size.

Liked: Location: It was *really* close to the train station, which was great. It's also only a short 10-minute walk to the center of town. The free wi-fi was decent as well, which I appreciate.

Disliked: The showers were a bit of a walk across the building from the dorms. The dorm rooms themselves didn't lock either, which I thought was odd. There also weren't that many people to meet, but I know that has more to do with the time of year than the hostel itself.

Liked: Location was good - very close to bus/train station, a walking distance from the oldtown.

Disliked: We had to leave a document as a deposit for the key but we hadn't known that before so we brought only our passports. And any at least aware traveler won't leave his/her only document for someone else to keep. We had to leave 50 euro deposit. That one hell of an expensive key, isn't it? And the price of the stay isn't that cheap; if you add up a fee for linen, towels, breakfast, toiletries, probably you could stay in a nice little in/hotel for the same price.

Liked: Big rooms, almost alone in a 6-bed dorm, Quiet at night.

Disliked: Staff was really unfriendly and unhelpful. I had to walk all the way back to the central station just to get some cash because they dont accept EC-Cards. Its by far the most uninviting Hostel I have ever been to. People were grumpy and quiet, nobody ever said hello or greeted at all. Staff is unmotivated and changing every 3 or 3 hours. We both had a itchy rash after staying there. Dont know exactly know from what, but probably from their way of washing the linen or so.

Liked: clean. It's ok if you are only sleeping there for a night or two. The staff was friendly but do remeber to ask about the wireless connection and some other facilities. The room was clean but boring, some more decoration could do. The kitchen was very nice and the bathrooms ok. The livingroom was nice as well.

Disliked: the location was wether in a friendly or nice neighbourhood, but ok location in comparason to main train station. Some more decorations could do!!

Liked: I have been travelling for over one month around Europe and 3 and a half months in Australia and I am not glad at all to say that this has been by far the worst hostel I have ever been. Where to begin from ? I arrived there to discover, after a tiring day, that credit cards are not accepted, 10 % of the total amount is to be charged extra if you want to use them. I had to walk all the way back to the station in the middle of the night to get some cash out ! There is no mention of such a restriction on the website! the standards of the rooms and common spaces is just obscene: it looks as if it has not been renovated for 50 years, more of a prison turned into an hostel that everything else. Horrible greedy landlady running the place. Please note that I paid almost 22 euros for one night in a 6 bed and she made me feel like they are doing so charity to me: only good thing it came at the end of my journey. Avoid it if possible !!!

Liked: They should change the directions. The post office is not the first thing you see when you exit the Hbf. You see kiosks and a big Jacobs.The heating there is really crappy. Well. It didnt work in my dorm. Worked partially in the lounge. And the cleaning staff kept opening all the windows in the morning even though it was 5°C outside.

Liked: Rooms were not locked which was weird but it was still a good place to stay. Nice lounge and free wifi. Will be better if they provided free breakfast even if its simple breakfast. Clean rooms and super comfotable beds.

Liked: Self catering kitchen is huge and you can cook everything.As this kitchen is quite spacious, it is not crowded at all.Also it´s very easy to find supermarket nearby from hostel.The staff was friendly and room is also spacious.Excellent value for money and Bremen is very attractive city.
