This is indeed the best hostel I have lived in. Very well connected by trams (Bremen is the City of Trams) in a quiet residential area suitable for a good rest after a good day out. Sparkling clean huge bathroom and very comfortable shower. Very well equipped living room with free internet connected PC and a huge LCD TV. Two thumbs up. Next time I return to Bremen, I will definitely choose Southend again.

was very pleased about the private room at a good price and it was a small very cozy setting where I felt very much at home. Would stay again, a bit outside of town center, but easy streetcar access

it's very nice. It has good location - i found it easely. And the main one is the friendliness of the staff! - I spent my time in the city incradibble thanks to them!

it's very quiet, clean, cozy place. It looks like home, not a hostel. Free internet, TV, kitchen with with all household appliances. Splendid place!

Its simple, a real backpacker hostel. A little out of range on the night if the trams has stopped going.

The staff was really friendly and the place was clean. I enjoyed my stay and will probably come back whenever I'm in Bremen.

This hostel was clean and tidy and well kept and was great place for us to relax after going to Hurricane Festival which is held nearby! The staff were friendly and helpful and the place felt as welcoming as home.

real great atmosphere, almost like at home! with a garten, a calm neighbourhood! without an auto it could be more difficult to reach the centre. but with an auto it is real a good choice!! nice staff also!

Nice & quiet when I was there ... a little out of town but excellent tram service just around the corner ... friendly owner even if he did advertise a substandard beer (in the room name) from a substandard Irish town ... FYI Guinness & Waterford City are the best Irish beer & the best Irish city ..... free internet access and free tea & coffee ... would I stay again? Yes!
