Liked: It was fairly cheap and the bar and lounge area was pretty cool.

Disliked: I did not like the dirty showers and bathrooms and the walls are thin so it was fairly noisy at night.

Liked: a short walk from Alexanderplatz, nevermind that there's also a U-bahn stop literally right outside the door! The staff's great; they'll do whatever they can to accommodate your desires. You won't find drinks cheaper than at Belushi's, and the food's cheap as well--everyone staying at the hostel will receive 10% off their food if you show them your room key. Lots of bars nearby, and the rooms are, as always, comfortable and satisfactory. Still no complaints about the cleanliness of their facilities. All in all, a great place to stay.

Liked: U-bahn was literally steps from the front door. We also thought we were in a private double but somehow got upgraded to a shared apartment with a kitchen and facilities. Everything was very clean and breakfast was good.

Disliked: Having to enter with my luggage through the bar felt a little strange. Could be nice if reception was separate from the bar.

Liked: it was easy to met other travellers and definitely a good party vibw

Disliked: wifi only works in the bar area, not good if you want to get a good nights sleep as every body there parties until late

Liked: Great hostel! My friends and I had a fantastic time! We met a bunch of very cool people and the place was very clean and helpful!

Disliked: Se or h employees were a bit short with us, but overall the helpfulness of the staff was funaminal!

Liked: Really good location, the U-Bahn is RIGHT outside the door of the hostel. The actuall rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Everything was really good! Perfect hostel, clean and safe! Easy to find and the location was not bad at all. The offered bike rentals which was really nice. The food/drinks were cheap.

Liked: I paid about 9 euro a night for such a great hostel. I met so many great people and the vibe is always great at this place. There are lockers in the room plus secure luggage storage so your stuff will be safe. The food at the bar downstairs was really amazing too and not a bad price either.

Disliked: Internet times out after half an hour so it made making travel plans a little difficult as you need more time and you lose all the web pages you had open. But was no big deal as just a minute walk away was a net cafe for half the price. Also, a kitchen would be great for budget travellers, but its more of a hang out and eat at the bar kind of place. Also you should bring ear plugs if you want a good night sleep as there are lots of party goers in and out during the night

Liked: Liked the out of room showers and toilets meaning you didn't have to wake people up in the rooms!! And generally was a very pleasant hostel!!

Liked: excellent location, value for money etc. it puts any other hostel ive ever been to shame. cant recommend it enough.

Liked: Good location.

Disliked: Not very personal. My room was right above the bar, and they allow people to stand outside the bar all night so I got very little sleep because of the noise. This wouldn't have been the case if they were inside the pub.

Liked: the bar and the atmosphere

Disliked: i booked two nights at the same time, but when i checked in i was never told i would have to switch rooms. while we were out all our stuff was moved and a few items were missing. even after politely trying to discuss the misunderstanding we were told that we had caused enough trouble that day. other than one member of staff, however, our experience was mostly positive.

Liked: Really every single thing was the best! I arrived there around 9pm, I was travelling totally alone, but after several hours already met some friends and nice people to party. However, if I were sleepy, I would totally have all conditions to have a rest.

Disliked: Probably, kinda early time for the latest check-out (11am), but I guess it's a common thing and quite reasonable.

Liked: Clean tidy and just as good as a basic hotel but cheaper.

Disliked: That they did not introduce you to Berlin and tell you what's good and what's not. Bit picky but i think all hostels should do this as it only takes a couple of minutes.

Liked: An absolutely brilliant hostel. Great value for money and in a great location. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and clean. A lovely atmosphere in the bar attached and some great deals. I cannot wait to go back!

Liked: Nice, clean place. Very courteous staff. Easily accessible using public transport and quite close to major attractions. Highly recommended.

Disliked: The Bar area gets very noisy during football matches, quite understandably :)

Liked: I've stayed at St. Christopher's in London and Edinburgh, and Berlin was just as great! Huge rooms with bedside lamps, very clean rooms, showers & toilets.

Disliked: I only had one day of sightseeing in Berlin, and for that the hostel wasn't ideally located, but it is in a very cool part of town, and I wish I would have had more time to explore! Since the reception is at the end of the bar, it was a little hard to access if anything was going on in the bar, but as long as the staff knew you weren't waiting to order drinks, it was usually ok.
