Liked: Location is good. Wifi was fast. WE booked expensive room so we had less problems with lines into the bathrooms. the shower and batthrooms were greAT1

Liked: The hostel staff were brilliant, so helpful and reliable and spoke brilliant english! The location was really good and their instructions of how to get to the hostel were very clear.

Disliked: You had to pay to rent the towels but it was only 2 euros, also breakfast wasn't included.

Liked: Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and spacious. Good atmosphere engendered by small scale . Breakfast good vfm

Disliked: A liitle out of the way but this was offset by the relatively low cost. Could have done without constant music inall areas bit then that's young people for you.

Liked: The location is fine: not right at the center, but still rather close. Quiet a lot of different cafes, bars and pubs are nearby, but generally the district is rather quiet. The staff was friendly. They even offered walk tours around the city in the morning. The breakfast was not comprehensive but very fine just for 2 euro.

Disliked: I think the towel might be given to every guest without the additional request.

Liked: Everything... From the moment we got there Steffi did all she could to help us do what we could in the 1 night we were there. Possibly the best hostel I've stayed at. Love the notes and signs everywhere and the room was great

Liked: Great hostel - the staff are really helpful + it's incredibly clean.

Disliked: The ONLY issue was the squeaky bunk beds me + my friend slept on top of.

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help me. The hostel itself was very clean and spacious, and set up in a way very conducive to meeting other travelers. Amazing experience!

Liked: Atmosphere, location.

Disliked: Got waken up early by the staff on the day of departur, in a very disagreable way and rude manner.

Liked: Great neighbourhood it's located in and real homely feel in the hostel with relaxed friendly staff, great food (even the occasional free meal!)

Disliked: There wasn't 24 hour reception and we arrived around 1.30am but even that wasn't a problem because they left a key and all the details for me! Basically they're really helpful and responsive so it would be hard to have a problem!

Liked: Limited number of rooms coupled to one bathroom. Kitchen was clean and fully functional. We particularly liked the concept of food communism. (Old food belongs to everyone).

Disliked: We weren't notified that the corridor we lived in was subject to ongoing renovations.

Liked: Great staff, good rooms, excellent common room facilities. Nice and small and intimate. Not another party hostel!

Liked: Thoroughly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Berlin. Staff are very helpful. There is an excellent Thai restaurant about 200m along the road from the hostel, amazing food and very cheap. The hostel is very close to a Metro station if you don't fancy the 30-40min walk to the centre. The staff also provide food on a Wednesday night (i think) which is made into a free vegetarian meal (main course and dessert) for guests. If you want you can get involved and help with the cooking. We did and it's a great way of meeting people. The layout of the hostel is fantastic, it's impossible not to meet people as you have to walk through the common room to get to the guest kitchen (which is very well equipped and clean). The dorms are very spacious, bright, and clean. There are large lockers for all guests to use and padlocks can be rented from reception. Excellent value for money! The free tour is well worth it! you see all the major tourist attractions and experience the buzz of the city at the same time.

Liked: friendly and helpful staffs cheap and delicious breakfast clean kitchen and toilet this hostel is the best of hostels which i ever stayed!!!

Liked: One of the best hostels I have stayed in. While the private room was incredibly small (barely any room to walk around the bed), the rest of the hostel was great. The staff were extremely helpful and we even joined other travelers to make a community dinner on Wednesday evening (this is put on by the hostel every Wednesday). The beer was dirt cheap (1€ during happy hour...you should come here for this alone). Location is also great, minutes away from the subway, but the immediate area has lots of different restaurants and cafés to choose from.

Disliked: The only negative thing I could say and this is a warning to those who are thinking of paying for laundry services...my laundry was washed and left in a ball in a basket...I did not know that clothes could wrinkle that much...they looked like a 100 year old grandmother. Kind of disappointing, especially when you are paying for the service. Guess it serves me right for being so lazy with my laundry though.

Liked: The hostel itself was nice, clean and great to stay in. Not the epi centre of Berlin but in a very nice neighbourhood with lots of nice shops and cafes nearby. Staff were friendly.

Disliked: Nothing I can think of!

Liked: Great kitchen facilities and cheap breakfasts. Had a beautiful patio to sit out on. Very sociable hostel

Disliked: Patio closed at 10pm. would be nice to stay out a bit later
