The hostel boats 'Eastern Comfort & Western Comfort', looks forward to welcoming you on board with its unusual atmosphere which is unique to Berlin! They are located directly at the border between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.
The boat “Eastern Comfort” is moored only 10 meters away from the 'Berlin Wall'. The boat “Western Comfort” is 250 metres Walking distance away.

The 'Eastern Comfort' is composed with 1st and 2nd class cabins all of them ensuite, first and second class Eastern Comfort Cabins come with towels and linen included as of the first of Feb 2013. Our new boat “WESTERN COMFORT” is moored just next to “eastern comfort”. It offers 18 x 2nd class cabins with large windows. Showers and toilets are central located outside the cabins on the upper deck. All services like reception check in/out, breakfast, lounge etc. only on “eastern comfort”. Perfect for low budget travelers because all the cabins are with shared showers and toilets. Here, linens and towels if needed can be rented at a one time fee of 5 Euro/pers.
Half our cabins on the boats have water view, the other half land view of the Berlin Wall. The earlier you book, the longer you stay with us the greater the chance to get a cabin with water view
The boat is equipped with a modern central heating system in every cabin to ensure comfort and enjoy the crackling fire in our stoves while eating breakfast, during colder times of the year.
