Liked: The staff was very nice and helpful, especially the one gentleman from Michigan, USA.

Disliked: The coffee maker was broken and the nearest open coffee place was a few block walk away. Normally this would have been fine, but it was -20 C over the weekend and I wasn't too fond of hiking to find my early morning pick me up.

Liked: It was cheap. Showers were good.

Disliked: It was very noisy and crowded with school kids who were running down the hallways and shouting during the whole night. The staff was not very helpful. For example, I asked at reception where could I plug my laptop and the girl didn't know, she just told me , pointing the large common area 'I don't know I guess over there, take a look'. The building was really ugly and not very clean. Beds uncomfortable. My advice is spend a couple more bucks and you will get a far better service.

Liked: good athmosphere for young travellers. very helpfull staff. There is always life in the lobby

Disliked: too many beds in the dorm. and the location is a little bit far from the city center

Liked: The atmosphere was great and the staff were really helpful. they were always putting on fun activites in the common area and the happy hour bar was so cheap.

Disliked: The location was the only thing that was negative.

Liked: The location was good, the hostel was clean the building was nice. There was a good happy hours and free table football pool and table tennis. Febe one of the staff members was excellent, very helpful, full of life and at least seemed to be enjoying his job.

Disliked: Many of the staff just didn't give a dam. Some drunken larakens broke one of teh figures on the foosball table and they didnt even care enough to take a look or even try and aid me in fixing it,

Liked: Price ok, Free Internet but unstable.

Disliked: New Year's Eve party was horrible. Bad music really loud all night. The neighborhoods are not really safe either. There's one staff constantly talk to FEMALE TRAVELERS If you've been there you'll know whom I was talking about. He even used staff card to enter the room without knocking on the door. There are always people smoking in the hostel even though they claim it is forbidden. Lobby as a (lousy) disco is not really a ideal place for staying.

Liked: The room and bathroom are clean.

Disliked: The location looks dodgy. We have to tidy up our room by ourselves when checking-out.

Liked: I liked that we were able to get a private room for cheap, it had a big common room with a bar with cheap drinks and free internet.

Disliked: I did not like that they allow children to stay there. On our first night we were on a floor with all middle school aged kids who literally ran up and down our hallway screaming. It was nice that they had a laundry service but they didnt get our laundry done on time so we had to go an entire day wearing dirty clothes. Lastly, I wished there were more showers on our floor. Oh yes, and the metro is really close to the hostel, but that stop doesnt connect to other stops very easily.

Liked: Good location for those not worried about where in Berlin they stay. Has a nice open lounge with a bar and reasonable prices, as well as breakfast and other meals. The workers are all very helpful and very watchful of who comes in and out of the hostel. Plenty of free or affordable ways to keep your stuff secure. The rooms are a decent size and what you would expect for the price (typical if not better linens, etc.) However, overall a very pleasant experience and worth every penny (or Euro penny).

Disliked: The only knock is that the showers were not very clean as well as the bathrooms.

Disliked: The brakfast is not worth the £5 charged separately, and the room was far too small for 11 people.

Liked: Really good accomodation for little money. Clean rooms, lively bar, good atmosphere.. The U-bahn station is 5-10 mins walking. There's free wi-fi in the ground floor and three computers. Great hostel!
