Liked: The price was good and the staff was friendly.

Disliked: It was very loud at night. Also because the rooms are hot you have to leave the window open so if your room is near the bar you will hear noise until ~1am every night. It would be nice if the wifi could go throughout the property too.

Liked: Very nice atmosphere, great staff, free internet, nice rooms. Laundry service.

Disliked: The location is really not great, you have to walk a bit from the metro or the bus station. The breakfast could be better.

Liked: - 11am checkout, flexible to a little bit past: most hostels I've experienced have been quite strict on 10am. extra sleep in time is much appreciated in this raging party city-helpful staff let you know how to get to every part of the confusing city-24 hour reception-free internet-multilingual staff (I heard english, german, spanish, french and italian)-nice ethnic restaurants nearby

Disliked: -no free breakfast. also ends at 10am I think. -no towels -could easily hear people walking in the corridors, which woke me up a few times

Liked: Nice clean rooms and facilities. Bar in the hostel proved to be a good place to meet others and the staff laid on events e.g karaoke and guided tours so that socialising was easier.

Disliked: No locker/safety deposit box to lock away your valuables.

Liked: I loved everything about the Amstel House. It was the best was the best hostel I have stayed at in europe and I have been to many in my 3 month stay here. It was about 30 minute walk from the trains station, all the amazing sites, and a nice area. It was affordable and worth every euro!

Liked: Good things were the three free computers, the nice and clean reception, lobby and bar, the location and the price. It was really value for money! Bad things were that my room did not have lockers and there were no small lamps at the beds. It was very hot in the room, but we could not keep the window open because some guests were screaming to each other the whole night from rooms with windows facing the back yard.

Liked: All different age groups are allowed to stay. There are three computers that can be used for internet access free of charge!

Disliked: A lot of walking to get to places.

Liked: Friendly, helpful and beautiful (female) staff.Spacious room, clean sheets, large showers, table football for free.

Disliked: Quite hard to find the location and the position in the inner circle of Berlin - need of a special car label.

Liked: The enviroment was perfect, the people so kind and funny. Good place to meet new people and do more than sleep.

Disliked: That I couldn´t taste the "eat as much as you can" that it´s on Saturdays because we arrive in Sunday. Anyway, nothing, everything was OK.
